Lengthy wait for food no apologies were given. Noticed girl who cleaned table never disinfected nor wiped down ketchup/salt and pepper. Ordered pan fries and received shredded telling me they ran out. If I had been told I would have ordered something else. Asked for peanut butter and again they didn`t have any. The bacon was hard like it was cooked hours ago or maybe a day ago and reheated. The place is too loud. Will not be back. It was good years ago.

Ordered skip. Seine river café never disappoints.. food was delish, looked amazing and best part is it’s local.. one of my fav breakfast places. Yum :)

Awesome busy, small restaurant with great food and great service. Staff say it is crazy busy in winter months and less busy in summer but we thought a place with a line up on a summer day was busy!

This is a GREAT diner in the St Boniface ‘French’ side of town, with tasty breakfasts, a super-friendly staff, and good prices. It is packed with locals, but there is no reason why tourists can’t frequent this fun spot. It is a short walk or bike ride from the St. Boniface tourist sites. Our service was outstanding; not sure what previous reviews are talking about. This place is super-cute. It was so good the first day, we came back the next morning.

The food was excellent, and cheap. I would absolutely come back here. The service was a little slow, considering it wasn't that busy. However, that can definitely be forgiven, because the staff were friendly, and my waitress was happy to help with my questions about the menu. Try the Belgian waffle, it's AMAZING.

Ordered on skip, breakfast poutine and breakfast sandwich.I give it a solid 9/10 the food was great

Excellent food, wonderful staff. I’ve eaten here many times (+8). Everything I’ve ordered was great. Cheeseburger pouting and Ruben are my favourites.I’ll be back many more times.

Usually love it here but I was picking up an order and cashiers kept walking away and ignoring me, didn’t acknowledge my presence. One middle aged cashier took other ppl before me even though I was waiting for a few minutes already. Once the cashier was done with the people who came after me she walked away and didn’t say anything. 3 other servers/cashiers were standing on the side.

I placed an order on Skip and forgot to request ketchup with salt and pepper in the bag. I phoned there to request and the person answering the phone said they could not accommodate me. She said they can't do that because it wasn't written down initially on the Skip receipt. I said that wasn't a very customer friendly policy and I didn't know why it was such a big deal. There was silence until another person came on the line (the manager maybe) telling me they couldn't help me because I was rude to the initial worker answering the phone. I used no vulgarity or profane language but did express my frustration and dismay regarding their inability to accommodate my simple request. She said I was rude and disrespectful to her employee simply by overhearing what her employee was saying. So unprofessional from both of them and it sounds from reading other reviews of this place, they don't treat customers with the respect they deserve and rely on being a local business to give them leeway on sub par service. The fact I chose them over countless options in the city meant nothing to them and they just lost customer forever. What a garbage place with average-to-below type quality. So if you want to feel undervalued and mistreated by clueless management and staff, settle on this "waste of money" establishment.

Eggs Benedict and their pepper sausage eggs Benedict ? super yummy, borderline addictive, easy going staff, and a cozy sitting. Going out for coffee and breakfast? This is the place to be!
