Great staff and the best sushi I've had in ages! Please note: good food isn't fast and fast food isn't good. Be patient, it is worth the wait! Also, best price in town for quality food.

I ordered the 1 piece pickerel and chips at just under $9. The taste was good but the portion of chips & tartar sauce was a bit small. Clean surroundings and good customer service.

This is the best restaurant I've ever been to, and the front desk staff kept asking me what I needed. When she saw that my child was making so much noise, he offered to come and help me. The ingredients are fresh.

Great quality, quantity, and price. Being a vegetarian, I find there are good options here. Very tasty! Highly recommend.

I went for lunch with two other people. The restaurant was very clean and not overly packed with customers. We ordered a shrimp appetizer that was very tasty but overpriced for the portion given (5 pieces). Dragon, Dynamite, and Lava rolls were delicious and not overly priced. The presentation was very nice, for those who like to take pictures of their food. All in all, a good place for lunch on Portage Avenue.

Service was good, food was decent. Couple of dishes didn't go over great with our group but we're still good. Sushi rolls we had were all good..

Very pleased with our first experience. Ordered takeout. And the Bakugan was by the far best roll I've ever had. It's a staple that I love to get. And it is a typical one everyone does. But hands down, amazing.

Finally got around to trying this place, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.We ordered fish and chips, and it was really great. I love tempura, so pickerel in tempura was delicious. The fries were some of the best I've ever had.The chicken fingers (done in panko) were decent, but not amazing. The breading was dry, and not flaky at all.The gyoza were delicious though! I'd definitely order them again.

I grew up in Vancouver and have enjoyed some truly fine sushi. This restaurant offers sushi, sashimi and nigiri that beats some offerings back home.

Underwhelmed, opted for real crab on 2 dishes was seriously under portioned. The other dish was supposed to be a deep fried roll, the roll was not breaded nor deep fried. The high ratings had me convinced this is the better sushi joint in Winnipeg, passing through from Vancouver to Ottawa glad I never have to drive by this place again. The ginger and Wasabi were a little off for my sushi loving taste buds. I hope that their rating is friends and paid Influencers and not the people of Winnipeg because if your city gave this place a 4.6 rating when it deserves a 3.4 at best then Winnipeg needs more foodies that have refined taste.A for effort but you guys need Gordon Ramsey to give you some pointers. Truthfully I have had much better at chain shops in Toronto.Sry truth hurts use the review to build back better, also decor and atmosphere are a solid 2 stars if you plan to eat in here.Love and light, the traveling foodie! 3 stars because you both seem new to the food industry, when my mouth is saying 2 star... sry ;(
