Always have a great time at scout. My kids love going to play and I love going for coffee and treats. It’s nice to be able to have a coffee place that I can bring my kids.They have amazing events and great retail products as well. If I could give 10 stars I would bc five doesn’t feel like enough.Love scout!!
I was very excited to finally try Scout! The play space was fabulous, I was just a bit underwhelmed by the service - we were the only folks there and we had to go back and ask for the second half of our order, but more so I just excepted a “bit” of friendly chit chat from the staff as it’s a small little shop (I was there with a baby) and there was absolutely none of that, just felt a bit uninviting during our particular visit. Would try again to see if it was just a one off!
The only place I know of that serves great coffee, has good wifi, and is toddler friendly!

The matcha latte and almond croissant are just great. Very soft yet with a crusty exterior.
Really like scout! I don’t have children of my own but I am auntie to a lot of little ones and I do almost all my birthday shopping for the kids at Scout. They have super convenient online shopping, great prices and I love the in store pick up option so I can get a latte for myself. All around a great local place to support!
A play café is an amazing fit in this neighbourhood. I’ve taken my little one there to play a number of times, not to mention they serve the best latte in town!!!! Can’t wait to check out the new location!
Fantastic shop on Portage! Definitely family oriented, great place to bring kids. I think the books for sale is a great touch.The coffee was great and I'll recommend this spot to anyone.
