Who doesn't have a Sals memory. I went again today and as I was alone sat at the counter. The place was very busy and a hive of activity. The staff were hopping. I could look into the kitchen and everyone from the cooks to the servers were working hard and I was struck by how much they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. A great vibe for a workplace. The food was up to it's usual high standard. Just a great Winnipeg institution!!

Went here for a late breakfast on Sunday May 1-2022This is a Winnipeg based restaurant where you can get breakfast served to you 24 hrs a day ???The service was great ?The food was like how I remembered it ?The washrooms and restaurant was very clean. ?

Food was excellent and service was great! Only drawback was the wait time for our appetizers and meals to arrive. Other than that staff was polite, engaging and fantastic!

*TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE ** First time eating here last year, and was disappointed in the quality and quantity of their famous breakfast. And it took about a half hour or more for us to get our food...COLD...!!!! And so today I had called orderd 4 cheese nips, 15 minutes away from the place, got there and STILL WAITED OVER 30mins. And there was only 3 families sitting down to eat!!!

Great breakfast open early. Salisbury house is the blue-collar diner you can always rely on a good meal and honest people to dine with

ALWAYS an excellent experience. Service is great. Food hot. And staff most cooperative even when it is very busy at breakfast time. I would personally recommend this iconic Winnipeg restaurant!

My husband and I had breakfast this morning at the stafford location, and our server was Antoinette. She was so pleasant, studious, as well from the start to when we were ready to pay she had us smiling and laughing. She really shows beyond doubt excellent customer service!

Love my sal’s nip when I come home to visit. And the staff are so lovely

Our experience barely deserves 1 star. No thanks to the fact that I wiped out on the black ice 5 feet from the entrance. Thankfully upon being notified of my slip and fall, they promptly salted the sidewalk. We were seated quickly, but waited over 60 minutes for our 4 breakfasts, 1 chicken burger and 1 Salisbury steak. We weren't offered or received refills on our beverages. When our food finally arrived, everything except the 3 pancakes for my little one, was cooler than room temperature. The hashbrowns were so cold, they were hard and jabbed the inside of my mouth as I ate. The toast was buttered cold as it wasn't melted. When I complained, she asked if we wanted anything remade. We had been there 75 mins already and I wasn't keeping my little one out that late on a school night just to have warm food. The server said she would speak to her manager. I was shocked that the manager did not come by to give an apology, but rather relayed we could have complimentary drinks and desserts. I'm not sure what happened to the service at Sals, but shame on you. We could've ordered on skip or door dash and the same food would've arrived in likely 35 mins, still warm and I wouldn't be nursing a scraped leg with bruises and a sore hand from hitting the ice.
