Food tasted good, but after waiting six minutes for popcorn shrimp, we discovered when I got home that we only got a handful of shrimp and my daughter's no-mayo, no-pickle chicken sandwich had mayo on top and bottom and pickles.Very disappointing supper to bring home to the family.I'll visit Popeye's again for sure, but not this location.
Food was great but showed up just before close and the staff was grouchy and was rushing people put. They were still really busy right up til they locked the door. I think that if anyone shows up before they are officially closed can obtain the same service on of you showed up earlier on in the day
Tasty spicy chicken sandwich. My friend commented that there's no drive thru Popeyes nearby him inToronto, so consider yourself lucky Winnipeg!
The chicken pieces were crispy, crunchy and a bit spicy (perfecto). Fries were very good. The biscuits would need improvement, too plain, needs some garlic and cheese. Staff were excellent.
Update.I was contacted by the general manager and they apologized for the bad experience and assured me that my concers had been addressed. I took a chance after our talk to eat here again. Seems to be much better today.Was really disappointed with today's visit. The hygiene practices at this location need serious attention. From the cashier touching the inside of my cup and lid while handing it to me, and staff on duty going outside and then going back to their station without washing their hands. Seems like either they don't know better, or just do not care. Management needs to get on these issues immediately!!!!
I've had this a few times now. Food wasn't bad. I had the chicken nuggets not the pieces. They were so delicious and juicy and an amazingly satisfying crunch. I will definitely go back just for that meal. Lol
What a great location to deal with. We had a large order that was phoned in for pick up. The manager who took the order read it back to me and when I picked up my order it was checked and double checked for accuracy. Everything was perfect and just to be sure we got extra fries and rings at no charge just in case. So very friendly and helpful! Love this location!!
Ordered 2x 3 piece chicken combos. Spicy chicken was placed with my wife's side and mild placed with mine so we had to "trade fingers". My order was missing its biscuit. Onion rings tasted old and were room temperature immediately after receiving the order, I ended up throwing them out.Chicken was okay though.There are better options out there - I can't recommend this place.
new in the city lives near this location.first time visit Popeyes very impress nice clean restaurant, staff very friendly.i order 10 pcs meal and i need fresh chicken manager told me to wait for 10 minutes.i got fresh juicy yummy meal during my waiting time manager offer me free drink i m so happy and impressed with this service.so i decided to put some reviews and gave 5 stars to this location.thank you
The supervisor on the front counter don't know what is costumer service. When I went there with my brother at around 8. They guy treated us like we came there to steal food, when we had 2 coupons for 2 separate orders he asked me to show the coupon when my brother was making his order. Eventhough I paid for my order after that he is asking me to show the coupon again. If it was his responsibility to check the coupon he should been more focused when he was taking the order and should not be rude to costumer. Also he didn't greet us and we had to wait 3 minutes for him to take the order. Which is ok with but the way he treated a costumer as liars is not professional. This was first I used coupon at popeyes and he don't even like to give us discount. I will be back because I like the food but I won't be using the app because this guy looked down on me and he should been trained.
