We order from this restaurant though Skip The Dishes once every few weeks. While the quality of the food is good, their ability to follow ordering instructions is very poor. Our orders are constantly messed up. For example last night we ordered a 3 and 4 piece meal. One has the option to request a mix of dark and white pieces. Both my wife and I don’t like legs but they don’t allow you to specify “no legs please” so we expect to get one each and that’s fine. The 4 piece came with 1 keel, 1 thigh and 2 legs and the 3 piece came with 2 legs and a thigh. So out of 7 pieces of chicken there was 4 legs and only 1 piece of white meat. To me that’s not much of a mix. Other times forgot our biscuits, or a side. They really need to get their ability to fill orders correctly under control.
Got a spicy chicken sandwich at around 9pm on a weekday. Considering it was 2hrs from closing time, I’d usually make excuses for getting bad food but it’s the second time I’ve been here.The chicken pieces are not well cooked or properly spiced so it can induce nausea if you’re a picky eater or particular with smells.The fries were also pretty soggy.I gave 3 stars because the services were fast and the attendant was polite. But the food was not great.
We order 2 spicy chicken, one as a combo with extra sauce on the burger. But the experience was not good because they didn’t add extra sauce and one of the burger was not fresh. One was good and other was stale.Im really disappointed with this and they need to work on their quality they offer to customers. On drive thru we specially requested them to add extra sauce but we didn’t get what we told.
This was an extremely disappointing visit. The food was OK and that was the high point.They managed to lose track of my order. After waiting over 10 minutes I asked the server if my food would be ready soon and they stated that it would be. 5 minutes later I asked again and it turned out they had missed my order and hadn't started on it.The manager(I would name him, but he was not wearing a name tag) proceeded to give me every excuse he could think of instead of making sure my order was correct.He blamed the missing order on a group that left the restaurant before I had even ordered, then decided that someone else had taken the order, then came up with a few more excuses when I pointed out that those were unlikely as I was standing at the counter the entire time.The correct course of action would have been for the manager to take ownership of the problem, but I guess that part was missing from the manual as the manager blamed everybody in the restaurant at some point in our discussion and didn't take ownership or responsibility for anything. I guess he did offer me a free pie, but since I had ordered one already and didn't want another one the offer was a little lame. I wasn't looking for someone to relieve themselves on my leg and tell me it is raining. I wasnt looking for an item I could get free from filing out a survey.When I sat down I realized that they had given me the wrong sauce and went back to the counter..... again....I might try this place again. I've been here before and had acceptable service. Today was definitely a 1 star day. The service at this site is hit or miss. Do you feel lucky?
Top-class customer service. food is amazing. every time I go there is a guy I think his name is Tanvir .he comes to our table and asks if everything is fine or not. Appreciate this kind of service
This is one of the better Popeye's locations. I use the drive through 90% of the time and am usually happy with the service. The orders are always correct and most of the staff is friendly.
This is one of the best Popeyes I’ve been to so far in Winnipeg.The place is clean, staff members are friendly and efficient. They are following the Covid restrictions properly. And food was great and fresh. Overall it was a great experience.
If you're thinking of getting some KFC or Mary Browns...get Popeyes instead. This is high quality dining level chicken! Absolutely delicious! Very fresh, extremely tasty, good portions.
First time dining in at this location. I was most impressed by the cleanliness of this restaurant. The food was fresh and hot.The staff are very polite and friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves. I enjoyed the food and the service. I will be back at this location.
Bummed, because this is my go-to Popeyes on a monthly basis. I didn’t check any of my food before getting all the way home. I have to say that the colour of my nuggets and tenders were a bit concerning. Maybe others won’t think so, but I’m not used to them looking quite as pink as this. I tried one but still couldn’t gauge my comfort level. It was a lot of $ for 8 tenders and 8 nuggets…and most of them will be thrown out because it feels just too risky. I’ve had otherwise good experiences at Popeyes, but this experience isn’t sitting well with me. :(
