Ordered for the first time here yesterday. Both my partner and I selected to add all available vegetables and we maybe got 3 small broccoli’s onion and I got celery in mine the rest was all noodles. Mine tasted pretty good but my boyfriend didn’t like his. Tofu was absolutely delicious though. I don’t think I’d order from this place again. Paying almost $40 for 2 meals that consisted mostly of noodles isn’t really worth it
Former location of Palatal Express. We came here looking for that, but saw it was a different restaurant now. Figured it wouldn't hurt to try it. We were impressed. Service was good. Prices reasonable for what you get. Nice quiet atmosphere. Loved the paintings and murals on the walls. Very well done, and manitoba themed! Facility was nice and clean. Would recommend others to try out Pegs Bistro.
I was excited to try this place I've heard so.much about it,however I immediately felt disappointed when I walked in.It was dirty like disgusting , the place smelled sour and there was crumbs every where on rhe floor especially under the food prep table. The soft drink machine had old pop spills on the tray dried up and the interact machine was dirty . I had already ordered the food when I noticed how dirty it really is. The food was delicious ND friendly staff . I just hope the food doesn't make sick as the place truly was dirty. Super disappointed ?
Staff were very distracted by Skip The Dishes orders coming in and were on and off only paying attention to the person they were serving. It’s hard to hear in there due to the music so it makes ordering at a normal volume not possible. Cleanliness is definitely not a priority with dirty tables, messy food station, and honestly you need to muster up the courage to touch their debit machine. The staff member didn’t measure my sauce and poured it from some random bucket underneath the counter instead of using a ladle like for everyone else. It was so salty I had to throw it out. I also got chunks of other veggies I didn’t choose because the food station was so messy and random things have just fallen into random buckets. My husband also was not impressed with his. Waste of money. Major letdown from when there was a Palatal at this location previously. The only thing I liked was that they had some cool Winnipeg themed UV light painting on the walls.
Great employees! First time going there. Loved the atmosphere! Loveee the paintings. They did forgot my sauce and I went back to get it. They gave me 2 free drinks for me and my partner cause of it. The food was awesome
loved the food, the staff were super helpful and knowledgeable.The guy helped us choose better and suggested all the deals and specials (although he could have left us be and dont try all the goodies)overall, for sure I will come back and recommend the place to my friends
I asked about the vegan options and the staff were very helpful in letting me know which options to choose or avoid. They also made sure to use ingredients from the under-counter storage bins and clean the grill to ensure no cross-contact occurred. Definitely will be coming back. Only thing I could recommend would be labelling the vegan items on the menu and/or website.
While at first, reading the "feeling festive?" bit on their website seemed a little silly or gimmicky, it's actually a brilliant way to differentiate your food each time. She tried the sweet, I tried salty heat, and we were both surprised by how good it matched what we were craving. The staff mix it up to your taste "heat, do you want a 2, a 3" kind of thing.They cook it up and brought it to our table, and when we wanted to "up her heat" a little (the food!), they brought out the most delicious hot dipping sauce. We were the only ones here at 11pm, thinking it might be because people are equating this place to the stir fry place that was here. Tried that and this place is NOTHING like the old restaurant.Highly recommend trying a new place here. They're open late (2am) and super nice people. Can't recommend them, in person or by door dash, highly enough! Between wine sense and booster juice!

Fast, fresh, and tasty food! Friendly staff and no skimping on portions! First came here after winning an Instagram contest and have been back a second time for the great food!Pick your noodles, meats, veggies, and sauces. Then the team cooks it all up for you and it’s served piping hot! So many possible combinations.They also have drinks, appetizers, and dessert.Forgot to take a photo of the excellent artwork on the walls.
