Food is delicious, portions are ample, and the owners are fantastic people. Definitely a must try.

Earlier this week my husband, daughter and I visited Paradise for dinner. It was a lovely evening. We have been going through stressful times and needed a bit of pampering. Our server, whom we have interacted with for many years, was wonderful, and the food was perfect in every way. It was such an enjoyable night out for us. Thank you Paradise Pizza!

I think our server person was a little tired - I'm hoping so anyways. She was cranky and not very pleasant. The menu isn't all that large, slim pickings for my taste.Or maybe the place got new owners, because once before the everything about the place was good, that's why we went back. It'll be a bit before going back.

Every time we come to Winnipeg a visit to Paradise Restaurant is a must! Never disappointed in our meals and the staff and management are always friendly. The restaurant and lounge have been recently renovated. There are interesting pictures and fresh flowers on the tables. The menu has all the favourites from the past 38 plus years they have been open. And the pizza is to die for. Thank you Vince and the entire staff for making Paradise a must go to place. Amd those breadsticks…

Our group of family & friends, 15 of us in total visited this restaurant last weekend. To say we were all disappointed was an understatement. The highlight was the breadsticks, warm and fresh then our meal went completely downhill after that. We attempted to substitute the pasta offered on our dinner for two and was told it was a $2.50 up charge then moments later we were told it was a $5 up charge on a $50 dinner for two. We didn’t bother with the change. Our dinner came; first a starter salad on a plate smaller than our bread plate to share? Then a single serving bowl of overcooked pasta with a bland meat sauce for 2 to share? Then our chicken parmigiana the size of a hockey puck, burnt and dry for 2 to share? Three $50 dinner for 2s were ordered in our party and every one was equally disappointing. A couple in our party had the fettuccine pescatore again overcooked with odd tasting pollock. When we attempted to share our disappointment with the owner Vincenzo his response was “ If you don’t like my food then don’t come back” No sense of customer service whatsoever. We’ll go to Santa Ana or Santa Lucia for our pizza & Italian food fix in the future as they are both far better (quality, service & price)This Paradise is a very sad offering as compared to the wonderful Paradise on Portage Ave that we attended regularly, which is sadly now closed.

Pizza is really really good but the pasta we ordered to go was extremely bland. It was the fettuccine with cream sauce with chicken and mushrooms. Only had a couple bites and wasted the rest. I thought I had ordered the same thing and liked it before but this time was not good at all.

Terrible place. I recieved death threats from the owners son while there. 100% do not recommend

Best Italian restaurant with authentic meals. Pizza is unreal and the people are great.

Shared a delicious Vincenzo pizza, gnocchi and meat sauce, ceasar salad with great friends? The young lady that served us was great! Loved how Vince, the owner interacted with us, made it a personable evening!

I tried this for the first and sadly the last time. The quality is not worth the high cost. I mentioned I was a first time customer and whom ever I was speaking with seemed irritated to be there, and really wasn’t helpful. The breadsticks were a bunch in a bag and plain with no sauce, no butter/garlic butter on them which is odd. Caesar salad dressing didn’t taste like traditional dressing but was ok. It’s not worth $12 for the small amount. The pizza is not good at all, has a weird dough ball in the middle and it looked like the onion was sliced and not broken up, just tossed on so it was too much in a bite, same as black olives being 10 in one spot and nothing on the rest. Definitely could’ve been cooked longer! $100 dollars down the drain. This is why I don’t try new places, so disappointing and a waste of food and money. 100% disappointed.
