Had lunch with a friend. Ordered the original burger with fries, dill dip, and coleslaw. The Coleslaw had no dressing whatsoever so I added the dill dip that came with the fries. The fries were terrible, dark, tasted like the oil needs to be changed and several hours the bad taste is still lingering. Washrooms have very bad lighting. The server was friendly and courteous. I would not be inclined to return.
Original Joe’s is the go to family spot for us. Every time we have went the stuff always cared and the food has always been well prepared. Today I took my Mom out for lunch it was also her birthday! We ordered calamari and the nachos. Unfortunately when we got our food the nachos were cold and the calamari was Luke warm. It seemed like what we order there was all cooked yesterday and reheated at lunch today. Very disappointed my family and I have always had a great a experience at original Joe’s but today it seemed like whoever was working didn’t even seem to care about what they were doing. I spent 55$ and the only good thing was the beer
Would be nice if you actually included a decent portion of cheese. I should not have to add from my fridge. Wraps are burnt. Steak is disgusting. Parts are raw and other parts way over cooked. No quality control. Do not waste your money here. Worst restaurant meal I had in years.
small portion of cheese. burnt wraps. raw and overcooked steak. can tell they got lazy and cooked the meat cut up. waste of 27 dollars and will not return.
Had their regular burger with sides of crinkle fries and coleslaw. The portion of fries was very small (and I'm not a big eater) and they were barely warm. The coleslaw, according to server, was creamy and delicious. Ha. It was like plain shredded dry cabbage on my plate with zero taste. Going in, I knew it wouldn't be a homemade burger patty. It was very mushy and salty...I wouldn't recommend their burger. Go elsewhere if you have a craving.Service was not too bad though, although had to ask a couple of times for things initially ordered.
Food was very good and the portions were generous.
Went out with a friend earlier this month and waited on the patio for over 40 minutes before a server even offered us water. By this time, it was too late to order food as I had another engagement that evening. When we arrived, the restaurant was not crowded which made us think we had chosen a great time/location. Only 1 other customer was on the patio when we walked in, and another couple was seated shortly after.By the time someone came over to our table, the other couple (being looked after by a different server) had already received drinks, food and were just about ready for their bills. When I explained that we had been waiting, our server barely even offered an apology, let alone any compensation. We had only enough time for drinks at this point, and I felt too frustrated and rushed to enjoy the evening. We chose this location because we had both had good experiences here in the past, but not sure I'd go back anytime soon.
Loved the Long Beach Fish Tacos. Had the Waves West Coast IPA from Kilter. Itâs nice to have a selection of local craft beers on tap. Excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere.
Our server made us feel like we were bothering her..it was an effort to talk to us. My beef dip was very dry & over cooked. Will not go back
Wonderful service. Always making sure we were taken care of. Very friendly staff. Greeted every person as they came in.
