As a peg city kid - embarrassed that I did not know about Olympia until this past week. I went there twice in one week ! Amazing food - and great service ! And the portion sizes - wow! Wishing you all continued success - support local !
Portions worth the price. I can say of the the tastier Greek food I have tried in Winnipeg.I think they could go easier on the ranch sauce, but other than that the beef pita was very tasty
great food, everything on the menu sounds (and probably is) delicious. drinks are available and you have the option of eating inside or outside on the patio. very friendly service, highly recommended
This is a great restaurant with friendly staff great food and great service. It was busy but our food arrived quickly and was delicious. It was our first visit but now a favourite place. Veal was perfect and there were good sized portions for all. We will return and work our way through the menu.
Really good spot for Greek food. Went to Olympia diner today for the first time and we definitely enjoyed the food. Everything was so tasty and well seasoned. Their tzatziki was so good, if they sold them I would definitely buy it!
This place must be pretty good as I have frequented this place 3 times in the past two weeks... The food is flavorful, and the portions are generous, to say the least. For the most part, staff are attentive and friendly. The prices are absolutely competitive to various other restaurants. If I had any complaint at all... more times than not... in the restaurant itself... it can be cool in there... as well at times... I feel the music is a bit loud. But those are two minor complaints that don't affect me from coming back on a frequent basis...
Delicious food and maybe the closest you can get to the authentique Greek cuisine. Village salad (choriatiki in Greek), which is exactly how it is really made in Greece. Not a lettuce bowl (because the lettuce cost is lower and you can fill a bowl easily:) ) adding a tiny amount of other vegetables to resemble the original recipe. Greek salad has NO lettuce ! Pita gyro, at last, with pork meat as Greeks are having it. No lamb, no beef no whatever else :) Greeks eat pita gyro with PORK meat! Baked feta and keftedes were the perfect starters. Portions are big and very reasonably priced. Very good service, polite and friendly. See you in the near future and then you for your hospitality. If you want to know what Greek food looks like you have to visit this place. Plus you get also Italian recipes since the owners are Greek and Italian. We for sure will visit again and again.
I've known about this place forever and for some reason had never tried it until today, my 29th birthday.Let's start with them accommodating a party of 10, they were extremely friendly and helpful with seating the kids and bringing us everything we needed.Now let's talk about the food.. I'm a big guy, who normally doesn't like trying new places due to fear of high prices and low quantity, I hate leaving somewhere hungry, well.. thats not the case here, I dont think anyone actually finished their food besides me and I only finished because I got the "Frank" burger and it stated that it was a challenge.. I can honestly say I've never eaten that much in my entire life and at that point didnt think I was making it to my 30th birthday!! Haha.The food quality was amazing and the staff were outstanding. I'd give 10 stars if I could.If you're like me and have never given this place a shot, take my word and go on down. You will be pleasantly suprised
I keep trying to give this place another chance but now I'm done...They over spice and salt everything, even the salad! (Real Greek food does not taste like this)Portions are tiny and extremely over priced.... 1 piece of tiny garlic toast is over $2...I will never be back... I will stick to Santa Lucia for Greek.... where the food tastes great and you get big portions... and of course the famous garlic toast that is amazing!Learn how to make Greek food if you want to claim to be a Greek restaurant! ???
We order from Olympia alot, the food and service is always AMAZING, but last night they went above and beyond. As sometimes happens with any restaurant, we had a slight issue with our pickup order. We called them to let them know and without hesitation they offered to remake our food and deliver it ASAP. It was at our door within twenty minutes along with some extra treats as well!
