Very good food and people, also fast service. Was there a few years ago and loved it! Going back this evening with my wife!

The sushi was great! They have good variety of sushi.

I heard from a trusted source that Naru was a great sushi place. And so on that recommendation, and with my go-to place closed for some inexplicable reason, I tried Naru for the first time. Cut to the chase...I was quite disappointed. The chicken karage looked and tasted like little left over bits of chicken left at the bottom of a deep fryer. The shrimp tempura's grease could have fuelled an oil lamp for the winter. The tuna in the salad and in the nigiri had a fishy taste, indicating it was past the 'best before date'. I thought the fish to rice ratio was off as well, with too much rice overpowering the taste of the fish. Maybe that wasn't such a bad thing. The avocado and California rolls were actually really good and the best part of the meal. Maybe I expect too much from a sushi restaurant in a land-lock prairie town, but there were not enough redeeming qualities to come back a second time. Sigh.

Best sushi in Winnipeg! I come here a few times a month. I always get an order of the spicy jumbo roll (with salmon)and the Naru roll because they’re easy 10/10s. If you’re vegetarian they also have a huge vegetarian menu!I’ve tried the October rain roll after seeing recommendations here and it wasn’t my favourite. Still good, but way too much crispy yams for my liking!Sashimi quality is great and melts in your mouth, but portions could be bigger.Overall a real hidden gem and a place you need to try!

My partner and I have always loved Naru Sushi because you get the best bang for your buck and they are always fresh, deliscious and as advertised on the menu. Last night my partner and I decided to treat ourselves as we hadn't ordered from this restaurant in quite a long time, so we ordered 7 sushi rolls. They were all TERRIBLE!!! Every single roll was 3/4's filled with cucumbers. Hardly any of the advertised ingredients ex. Eel roll SHOULD have eel in it.It took us a few bites to realize the problem. The large variety we ordered of sushi rolls were all in part, CUCUMBER ROLLS. 7 orders of cucumber rolls for $70 with tax and tip!!! This restaurant has forgotten how to follow their own menu or have hired someone who doesn't know what they're doing. My partner and I choose carefully when ordering as we do not do it often. Very disappointed Naru Sushi.

By far one of the best sushi place in Winnipeg. Great quality with fantastic service. Never been disappointed with the Sushi rolls; I recommend trying their Naru roll and October rain roll. That’s my all-time favorite.

We got a medium size sushi boat and omg it was amazing. Great quality more than enough for 2 people. Quick and friendly service. We'll worth the money. We will definitely go back

Food has great taste, prices are pretty good fro the food that you get and the area, good service, would definitely come back!

I’ve been going here for years, even before when it was Miyabi….and slowly it’s been declining the last couple. Tonight was not so great. The service and staff are all very pleasant, friendly and quick. The rolls are always slightly different. Not sure if it’s due to different chef or…. Had one of my favorites (Naru roll) tonight, the breading on the shrimp inside the roll was hard, soaked in grease and almost inedible. The veggie tempura had a very thick heavy greasy coating. Not the norm.Veggie caterpillar roll, the eggplant inside was almost invisible. Sad to see the decline in food here :(.

Amazing quakity food, great service. Would definitely reccomend. Some very unique eats
