First visit to this restaurant and after being seated we were left for over 10 minutes without even being offered a drink. They were not very busy at all. I finally approached a member of staff and pointed out that other couples were being served who had just arrived and she said she wound get a server. Waited a few minutes more and then walked out. Even when we told the staff why we were leaving they didn’t seem bothered. We won’t be coming back.
WHEN BUSY: Not kid friendly, nor family oriented. I will never forget how this place treated my family. I had a terrible service, and the staff was awful to us.Regardless I know their food is not bad, in fact it is good. I am not coming back of course, but the experience I had was solely with my family and I. Maybe you can get more from this place.Go for it and get your own opinion.
We had the best experienceOur server was flustered bur efficient, you could tell she was overwhelmed.My brother had passed away and so I gave her a 50$ tip in his honor.She started bawling and told us it was a hard day and that we made her day!Best experience ever
Always a pleasure dining here at Montana's I never get tired. Try their steak, ribs and baked potatoes! Also they make the best corn bread! ? it's a good place to go with loved ones
We started with the medium chicken wings as an appetizer - they were excellent. Good meaty chunks with lots of sauce. We had both blue cheese and ranch dips on the side. Our main meals were the pulled pork on a bun and the beef brisket on a bun. The beef brisket had some good flavours, nice cheese and crispy onion rings, it could have used a little more sauce. I would give it a 4/5 - just needed a little more sauce or kick or pizzazz. The coleslaw on the pulled pork needed some tanginess. Very good server - very attentive. Drinks are good here. The side salads were very nice. Good choice of salad dressings. The wings keep us coming back to this restaurant.
I used to be a huge fan of Montana’s, id even say it was my number one favourite restaurant, but my last couple experiences were completely unsatisfactory, tonight I got a steak and the kapow shrimp appetizer and the steak was definitely not 7 oz it was ridiculously small, undercooked, ice cold, and every single bite I took had some sort of gristle or sinew in it, it had absolutely no flavor. I paid 84 dollars after delivery for the steak, the appetizer, and a burger. absolutely rediculous price for what I received. I don’t know if they have new chefs or owners but this last experience was enough for me to never visit, order from, or recommend their restaurant to anybody ever again, i am extremely disappointed with the quality of what I received for the price I paid. from now on I will not be going to their restaurant anymore. I made a Yelp and trip advisor account just to post this review.
Excellent service and great food. Steak was perfectly cooked as requested, and all other patrons were very happy with their dishes. Very attentive staff, making sure everything was on point and we were enjoying the experience.
My son ordered a beer and it had something disgusting floating in it, we told our waitress and she brought another one that had even more floaties ? Steak was delicious, but my "loaded" baked potato was not even warm enough to melt the butter then I found something hard in it that broke my tooth, they took a whole 5$ off our bill lol dentist costs were definitely not worth the meal. My son had the pulled pork sandwich that was dry with no flavor ? but on the bright side our waitress was awesome
Excellent food at reasonable price. Service was quick. Food was delicious. Pretty large portions, even from the kids menu. Was not crowded the time I went, probably due to the pandemic and it being a weekday. Lots of parking available.
Was in Winnipeg running errands and wanted a bite to eat but we’re running late so we did an online ordering with a gift card. No problem no hassle all greatPicked up food at the appointed time and it was there ready to pick up 2 hour drive home and a few minutes in the microwave and boom dinner ready.Absolutely delicious and a good portionThanks for great service
