JUNE 5,2022 ? We had company from Calgary Alberta and another relative had suggested to them to go the Marigold on Inkster as a choice for dinner. OMG ‼️??♀️??♀️??♀️ THE WORST, WORST! Food I believe I’ve ever (not) eaten. I would NOT describe that food as Chinese Food !! All the ‘meat’ products were the same colour. The shrimp was definitely cocktail shrimp with the TAILS & not! Breaded shrimp. Fried Rice? White rice with a few green onions and CORN. No veg on our combination plates??! Greasy. Tasteless or rather everything tasted the same. The Veal: a joke; paper thin pale yellow horrible. I couldn’t say anything at the moment because I was paying & didn’t want to embarrass our company BUT FOR $71 I WIIL BE CALLING THERE TOMORROW ( COULDNT get thru today ?) I seriously tasted one of ea. & didn’t eat at all. Stomachache all day today ‼️?. YOU WANT THE BEST CHINESE?? Sing Fe in Stonewall (cheaper) bloomin FABULOWSO ‼️ or Wok House on Portage Ave Wpg. If there had been a zero for a choice that’s what I would’ve packed instead of a 1.AND BECAUSE IM NICE! I still gave the waitress a tip‼️
My partner and I were both sick after eating 5he food. We had combination #1 from the menu. We had ordered takeout and paid almost $30 for the food. In the take out bag was no utensils or napkins. When we asked the staff at the restaurant for plastic forks and napkins the extremely rude women at the cashier told us they aren't included with take out food. If we wanted some would be 10cents for each napkins and plastic utensil. She also said every restaurant and food court in Winnipeg was charging the same now.I knew that wasn't true and told her so. She rudely replied yes they are. Me and my husband just couldn't believe how rude she was. We had just paid almost $30 for our food which in the combination plate turned out to be mostly just rice..I will never eat there again...
This last order from Inkster was terrible the shrimp was salty and hard the beef broccoli tasted like pork fat the garlic veal tasted like water down no garlic taste what a waste of my money
My order came and the bag was turned sideways, all sauce from black bean beef dish leaked out all over.Also no white rice with orderI ordered pan fried shrimp and it was just all onions with very few schrip. I a very disappointed as I haven't ordered in a long time.The noodle chicken dish was all dried up. I just don't get why you can't take pride in what you are cooking. It was $50.00 still waiting for a call back. Also Google pan fried shrimp....it all looks delicious not what I recieved. ? If you look at Google pan fried shrimp....any of them....not one looks like yours I said......yours was all onion 2 different kinds and new shrimp that looked raw...this is my fault for not taking a picture......and you were very rude to me by the way. If you look at my reviews for other services you will see that I rarely put a negative review. Due to the Christmas season I've deleted my Facebook review because I don't want negative feedback from other previous customers of yours. Hopefully you will take customers more seriously in the newyear. Good luck.
Went to eat in..she says can't dine in bc there under staff..but all ya see is skip dishes drivers waiting to pick there orders up..clearly they are making great money on skip dishes..bc they do not want ppl to dine in..go else where if can..do give them the business.
Always smooth sailing during events. Food is good too. Staff are friendly. No complaints.
We've gotten takeout from here numerous times and recently just went to a birthday party here. All in all, great food with reasonable prices. Plus they don't use MSG! A definite selling feature for me.
Got my order and the chowmien had two small pieces of chicken alone in the entire box and the hot and sour soup had a complete bar of tofu just dumped into the soup (unbelievable),I called the restaurant and was placed on hold a few times before I was told the manager was too busy and what do I want them to do with this complaint.......really I think this restaurant forgot when we were in lock down and they were not doing business and we begging persons to order take out....I will never ever order from this restaurant again and I suggest person check their order and see if its actually correct,horrible service and horrible way to treat hard working persons in health care.If u are short staff that is not the customers problem and lack of meat in the food probably meats u are given less but still charging same price Unfair and as for entitlement plz I am sure u treat some of your customers better u k ow who I am talking g about but it's fine keep on arguing with customers instead of fixing the problem.
Ordered through door dash. I don't think I will again. The vegetables were in a pool of sauce. It was pretty gross.
Delicious! So far only private functions but great service, good food and good portion size. Did dinner for 6 x 2 and plenty of variety and food for all.
