Planned to celebrate my birthday here and it was the perfect place! The interior decor is so different in such a classy way and the atmosphere and the vibe of the place is buzzing with energy . It's just got a great feel to it that is so different from any other place I've been to. They were very accommodating, allowed us to come in early and do some decorations, service was awesome and food and drinks were great. A nice touch was the manager sending out shots for my entire party of 6 on the house. I thought that was a very nice gesture. Everyone had a great time and absolutely no complaints.. Will be returning and spreading the word! Thanks so much for making my birthday special and just an overall great evening out!

Super adorable and chill vibes. Drinks are super creative and the food was bomb! Had the street corn which was charred and full of flavor, and the sweet potato and vegan chorizo tacos. Both had a good kick and was tasty!

The ambiance was nice, it reminded me of Earls a bit and the food was really good. Menu was pretty small, not sure if thats normal or not.

Neat place nice atmosphere. I worked in New Mexico for years so I thought there tacos were decent probably 4 stars, but since it was Canada I gave them the 5th star. The fish taco was excellent.

Went here for a friends birthday over the past weekend and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. One of my friends asked our server (who was wearing a full on sweat suit, not very professional in my opinion) if they had Aperol and our server said they didn’t even though half of the drinks on the menu had Aperol in it.We placed our drink order and I saw the drinks sit on the bar top for 10 minutes and our server walked past them approx. 5 times. Please note that there were only 4 tables in the whole restaurant so it wasn’t busy. It wasn’t until I made eye contact with the server that she went to go get us our drinks.I ordered the “LC Paloma” and it was one of the worst drinks I’ve ever had. It was $13 and I’ll I could taste was tequila and watered down grapefruit juice (even though the description said it had agave, strawberry rhubarb and lime). I asked our server for a little bit more grapefruit juice so I could top up my drink and they ended up just remaking the drink for me which ended up tasting just as bad the second time. If I would’ve known they were gonna re-make my drink I would have ordered something else.We all ordered tacos and 3/3 tacos I had came out cold. We weren’t even done eating (and still had full drinks) and our server came by and said “so do you guys just want your bills now?” which left us all very confused. My friends ordered another drink that had gin in it and our server comes by and tells us they ran out of gin, even though I saw 2 full bottles behind the bar.Overall, this was an extremely poor experience and I will not be going back and strongly advise people not to go here.If you’re looking for another Mexican place, give Carlos and Murphy’s a try on Osborne.

Just a warning to the vegans: They have a burrito labelled as Vegan which I ordered from Skip. However, they wrote "VEGAN" on the steak burrito and "CARNE" on the vegan burrito. I would advise people to double check their order before eating it.Sidenote: I have had the vegan burrito multiple times before and it was one of my favourites. I personally won't be returning, but if anyone else wants to try it, please double check your order is correct.

I had three tacos here Steak - nice heat and flavour to this one Sweet potato - crunchy and spicy. This one left my mouth warm for awhile & I loved it. Chicken - my least favourite, only because the other two were so good I also had an order of churros, they were freshly made & were delicious. If it weren’t so early in the day, I would have loved to try a margarita!

The food was excellent with good options for heat level. Great creative drink options and all located in an older building with some history. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.Great place for a fun night out.

We came across La Carnita after a long hike from The Forks and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the beer, and the service. Nice decor, too.

Great food and service!! First time there and I would, definitely, go back.
