Good ramen! I've had ramen at another place that was oily and super salty. This was perfect.
From an out of towner visiting, we ordered take out which worked out great since we have picky kids and we're all recovering from some sickness. Got the fire ramen, spicy miso ramen and yaki noodle. All taste buds were satisfied and bellies full with excellent portions and fresh ingredients you could taste. A+They got our interest from a cover picture on the "taste" magazine from 2019-20.
Giving 5 stars because their spicy peanut ramen is one of the best things I have ever tasted, BUT it appears as if they’ve closed about a month ago with no warning, no notice on websites, Facebook, or even in person. Signs on the restaurant say open but doors are locked and phones go unanswered. Has been this way for at least a month. Wish they would update SOMETHING.
SPICY PEANUT RAMEN!!! If you are new to eating restaurant style ramen, try the spicy peanut ramen, it is absolutely delicious and sooooo much flavour. (and to those picky eaters, no it does not taste like peanut butter lol)
We loved the Edo Chip Ring Wasabi Jolt! Just the right amount of crunch. My favorite dish that includes savory, sweet and salty is a modern dumpling-like gastro packets. We will definitely be back before this limited time offer expires.
Good Ramen. Got my usual, spicy miso and it doesn't disappoint. Also had spring rolls.Server was pleasent.Instead of menus they have QR codes to load menu's digitally. The codes are a little low res, so we had to pull them out of the stands to be able to read them.
terrible customer service with a complaint and nothing but a waste of money. a woman who said was the manager had no customer service at all.
Got the Burger Week entry, a Peach Gobbler. Oh my. It was incredible. Super crispy chicken, amazingly flavoured peachy hot sauce. It all complemented each other so well. And their fries were tasty too!
We tried the burger « The peach gobbler » during the burger week and it was AMAZING! I also had some spicy mayo fries and they were really worth it! The place looked a lot better from the inside than the outside. I’m really glad that I tried it out!
Decided to try Kyu Bistro after maybe a year of not eating here (we would order quite often). We ordered close to $90 worth of food for delivery including the peanut chicken, chicken skewers, chicken udon, and korokke. My FIRST bite of the peanut chicken and all I could feel were tiny bones crunching in my mouth (see photo). This was so disgusting to experience. This dish is not something that should have bones in it at all. This had me immediately put off from eating anything else. At the same my partner was eating the chicken skewers and her first piece was just full of chewy fat making it inedible. So I tried the skewer and had the same crunchy chewy fat result.Aside from both of these items being awful, everything was just smothered in multiple sauces and basically all had a slimy texture. Such a waste of food as it immediately ended up in the trash.I will never order from here again. This experience was horrible.
