This is the best pub in Winnipeg!! Chris and staff are super friendly and attentive. Good pub food, favorite is the burger and fries but my buddy loves the banger’s and mash. Over 30 beers on tap to choose from with lots of local breweries on tap.
Guy at the door with a pony tail and under armour shirt was on a power trip, ID’ing 50year old plus people and refusing perfectly sober people. Inside was dirty, glasses everywhere. You could spend your money at McDonalds at get better service. Bunch of mouth breathers
The ambiance in this place is fantastic. We were a larger group about 10 or 12. They got us all looked after when we went in, And they kept us look after the whole time we were there. Everything was excellent, But I tried the fish and chips And maybe the prairies aren't the best place to order them. I would return in a New York minute.
I came here with a friend recently. The service was great and our server was really nice. They have some interesting options in their menu. I tried out their butter chicken poutine and was impressed by how good it tasted.
Worst bangers and mash I have had. Mash potatoes had zero flavor and sausages not much better. Very disappointing.
Pretty fun place to go at night. They sometimes have live music upstairs and the price here is reasonable. They surprisingly have good Indian food. Anything with butter chicken sauce is highly recommended. Cajun chicken pasta is also very tasty.
One of our favourite places in the city! Absolutely love the owner and all the staff there. Food is delicious, lots of options for beer on tap, local breweries, incredible live music, drag brunches, pool tables, dart boards, and more. Amazing patio in the summer which often expands for special events in the Exchange/Old Market Square. HIGHly recommend this place…and often!
Easily my most favourite pub I've ever been to. Amazing staff and delicious food, and a wide variety of beer and liquor. The staff is always friendly and helpful when needed, and the atmosphere is ideal for a quiet lunch or a get together with a few friends in the evening. If you're looking for a great space to watch the game, this is your pub.
Loved the environment! Great beers, great prices, welcoming atmosphere. I don't even usually drink beer, but they had a fantastic selection.
There’s a pub, and then there’s a neighbourhood pub. Kings Head creates that neighbourhood pub feel regardless of where you live, or where you come from. The staff are always friendly, willing to go that extra mile and ensure you feel welcomed when entering their pub.If you’re from Winnipeg or just visiting from outside the city, I highly recommend going to Kings Head, having a pint (or two) and enjoying a true pub atmosphere in the heart of the exchange district!
