Such a Winnipeg staple. One of the restaurants you need to try if you ever visit a Winnipeg or if you live in Winnipeg. Price is a little pricier than usual but with how everything taste, I think it’s definitely worth it. We got the New Style Salmon Sashimi, Beef Tataki, TnT & XOXO. Coming from Toronto, I have tried many sushi places but definitely loved this one. Great service as well, might be a little hectic as they get super busy but overall really happy with the time I spent here!
The portion sizes were a little small relative to the cost, but it was absolutely delicious, and the location is quite close to where I work. I’m sure to be a repeat customer.
Already love this place because of the atmosphere and quality of food. The service is great. The best addition to the menu at this location is Gamjatang. One of my favorite Korean dishes.
Good food yet overpriced. Service was good until we felt rushed to leave. It wasn't busy 6pm at all and the server was already asking for our plates when there was clearly still food on my plate I found that really rude.
These people are over rated seriously. Iwaited almost 45 mins after the pick up time and the guy ahead of me waited more than an hour. They don’t actually have any SOP’s or the service etiquettes. Very disappointing. Me myself feel so bad reviewing this store because i have never reviewed someone like that ?
We ordered lunch yesterday. Was extremely disappointed with the size of the rolls and portions! Very EXPENSIVE for what we received. Seemed like 2 teenagers were the only staff there when I picked up the food and they were awkward and unengaged!

Kimchi sushi is one of my fav sushi restaurants! Their pricing is a bit higher than other sushi restos though. Bur their special rolls are delicious! Tnt and xoxo rolls are my favourite.
Atmosphere is very good! Food is great quality and serving is superb and fast!! One of the best sushi in town! Highly recommended!! ?
My son and I have been going to Kimchu for many years. The owner and his team are just out of this world. The food is incredible, if you’ve never experienced this place, trust me you won’t be disappointed. Going to be doing a large pick up order tonight. Can’t wait ???
