Great food, great prices, great portion sizes, amazing staff. What's not to love?I frequent this place a few times a week and it's always great, every time I'm there. If you're on the fence, just give it a try! Ask the staff for some suggestions if you want, they do there best to walk you through whatever you might be interested in.
Hi! I bought Kalbi (mix) at Kimchi Garden City, Winnipeg on May 15 around 11:30 am. I want to commend the staff who attended and prepared my food (I wasn’t able to see their names as I wasn’t wearing my glasses that time). They offered help when I can’t decide which ones to order. After lunch, I cleaned up our mess and threw our food containers. Little did I know that one of the staff saw me throwing our trash and he asked my husband if I didn't like what I ordered because I threw some leftovers. Just so you know, I didn’t throw any leftovers as I didn’t have any. Kimchi is one of my favourite food stalls in Garden City and whenever I crave for Korean food, this is where I go. Kudos to the staff at Kimchi Garden City!

I hate writing bad reviews, but damn. I've always ordered from the Polo Park and Outlet Mall locations for years, never really tried Garden City's until now. I assumed it would taste just as good, but they really used cheaper ingredients and thought it would work out. My usual order is Kimchi friend rice, so at the Polo Park and Outlet locations, their fried rice always has Kimchi, pickled radish, and always has a good amount of meat. I always ask for extra spicy too, and they always make it very spicy.Garden City's "Extra Spicy" is just the regular mild. They put peas in their rice, and worst of all don't even have Kimchi in it??!? Like what? I just got kimchi flavoured rice. So disappointed.

Food is amazing and the staff is so friendly! Definitely worth the money, have been going here for years and the food is still great. The staff is so welcoming. Love coming here.
Ordered Shrimp Fried Rice but got Beef Fried rice.
I love this place !!! Very nice staff and very delicious food. The only thing I am confused about is the hours? I don't think they're open till 9 and they also don't pick up the phone. Have not seen kimchi on skip for a while as well
