The food was good and the old guy running the place was nice, but holy hell the place is filthy. It's really a shame since the food tasted good.Times are tough on restaurants so I hope this place can find a way to afford a deep clean.They'd help themselves by increasing their prices. $8.50 for two large pork chops and rice. The same item but smaller in Calgary costs in the range of $12-14. They don't need to match Calgary's price but they are cutting their own throat. Roll that extra money into maintenance and you have a better experience. They are never going to get new customers when your first impression is to run.
[?? INCREDIBLE FOOD ?? ] The sweet old man talks to his costumer and remebers to ask how you are. Please be patient with him because he is only one person and there could be a slight language barrier. All of the foods are amazing and flavourful. It is always consistent you will never get one bad meal! If you are rude and impatient and have no respect i suggest dine in somewhere else.
Unlike many other Vietnamese restaurants KG saigons barbecued meats uses an actual grill. The owner was a very nice man and I will definitely be coming back. Make sure to try the coffee. Absolutely fantastic spot.
