As long as you order their sweet crepes, they will be an absolute delight! Touch any of their savoury ones and its hit or miss sadly :(
Ordered 3 Bubble Teas. All of the Tapioca pearls were undercooked and raw tasting in the Centre of each. Will definitely order from Panda Tea instead next time as only $5 more delivery but are perfect every time and taste a lot better
Love their crepes, very delicious. I like their gluten free option and I think it's better than the gluten ones
I enjoy the vegan batter, it’s delicious however I notice whoever I eat it, I seem to have digestive problems after. I always get strawberries and bananas with syrup, and every time I get a bad stomach ache and have to go to the bathroom.
Ordered 4 crepes from here and the first one which was the sweet tooth crepe had multiple missing ingredients. The two Caesar's were inedible because the majority of lettuce was brown and wilted, I thought it was a soggy grean bean at first, the taste was horrific. When I called the store because I had ordered it through skip the dishes the VERY unprofessional manager blamed the courier for the order even though couriers arent the ones making the food. Additionally, when I told her the lettuce was horrible and brown she condescendingly told me "well you're the first person who has complained about our lettuce." Skip would only do 50% discount so I called hoping I could possibly recieve a credit for a crepe because it is a restaurant I USED to enjoy. But she said that they could not do anything about it and again condescendingly blamed skip and essentially acted as if I was dumb for thinking cooked lettuce would be crunchy even though IT IS BROWN and absolutely discoloured and said "next time you should come in so it will be more fresh to eat." Highly don't reccomend going here and I'm kind of surprised because I have never had a bad experience prior, but this one was so horrific that I'm going to tell everyone I know to be weary of the St. Vital location and its management. This is the first restaurant I've ever been to that has been so unwilling to help or recieve any blame for their disgusting food. I ate part of the Caesar and threw it up an hour later, couldn't reccomend enough DO NOT EAT HERE. (The first below picture is the greenest piece of lettuce I could find which there were few of, and one of MANY tiny brown pieces)
Good selection of crepe fillings. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Service is quick. The crepes taste great! I personally prefer the sweet options better, especially with the white sauce. Yum!The only thing is that table not always cleaned on time. Otherwise like going there, sitting by the window and watch bust Osborn Street
I’ve had food poisoning from here once in the summer. And silly me decided to eat here again a couple days ago. I ordered the Osborne Branch and Cheesecake crepe. I felt ill afterwards. I’m not sure if they are using expired ingredients or condiments that are left at room temperature for too long. Otherwise, the crepes are basic and you can make better ones at home.
I visited one of their locations for the first time and was not impressed with being overcharged unnecessarily. The price on their menu board did not reflect what I was charged…each crepe was 50cents more than advertised. I was advised by the manager that their prices have recently “gone up” but the changes have not been made on their menu board. If this is the case, it should have been communicated to their customers such as a sign instead of secretly charging them! This $$ all adds up with the number of customers they get. When I brought this to their attention I was not offered a price adjustment but instead a “take it or leave it” response.
Great crepes. I love the fact that you can make your own but even the signature creations are very good. The staff was friendly and helpful
