This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. We ordered 3 breakfasts and 2 burgers with an appetizer sampler. The coffee was barely warm in the carafe for starters and tasted horrible. The best part was the sampler where the food was enjoyably warm. One breakfast was ordered with sunny side up eggs and we got scrambled, the other was over easy and was more like a flat hard boiled egg, one order had rye toast and we got white warm bread. All of the bread tasted like cardboard, and was hardly toasted with a minuscule amount of butter. The scrambled eggs felt and tasted like chewing slightly egg flavoured paper, and on one order the over easy eggs were way over cooked with a horrid crust on the bottom. All the meats were funny tasting and the only decent meat was the ham, except for the fact it was in triangles the size of a loonie. The hash browns were still wet and cold in the middle, undercooked with again a horrible crust on the outside. The burger buns were doughy and did not taste good at all. The entire meal was cold when we received it and overall was unappetizing. If I could go back in time I’d look past IHOP and ignore it for the rest of my lifetime, the meal was not worth even half the cost of $125. Way overpriced and definitely not worth it for the tiny portions of cardboard you get to eat. On a final note, the bathrooms were in horrible condition with paper and garbage all over the floor.
I’m a fan of breakfast all day long, so IHOP is always a good option. Located conveniently by the Hilton Garden Inn, IKEA and the Outlet Mall. My wife likes the crepes. I usually get a skillet. Friendly staff. Consistent meals. Good prices. Clean building. Good parking.
Our names were on a wait list for 2 We were told it would be about 15-20 minutes for a table. An hour passed. They were busy. We understood. However ... we had to ask what was happening and why a table for 2 was taking so long... That's when we were told the person who took our name failed to mark it down. We finally got a table and it took another 10 minutes for someone to come to our table. We walked out. Of all the places to eat at Saturday mornings we chose IHOP... What a waste of our time.
Very good! Great pancakes hard to pick which flavour so many fun ones. Also serves burgers which is great.
Food was cold and there was a hair in my daughters sandwich. There was no ice for the drinks or cream for the coffee.
The waitress we had was awesome, while she was busy the manager brought out our food, our hashbrowns were so burnt I couldn't even pick them up without picking up the entire pile at once, my toast was so stale that you could snap it in half and my mother in laws toast was basically buttered bread. We spent $90 here and it was terrible. Definitely don't plan on returning.
Had a lovely waitress and got the Mac and cheese pulled pork sandwich, which was delicious and a side salad with balsamic that was excellent. Coming back to try more.
Friendly environment good food nice place to spend with family
I’m hoping the manager actually reads this. I had Pamela as a server this morning, she was fantastic and the only reason why you got any stars. I ordered the eggs Benedict, it’s my favourite breakfast anywhere I go. This was the worst eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Please please please get rid of the powdered hollandaise sauce. It has zero taste and no consistency. Also going forward please ask how’d the customer wants their eggs done. Mine were overcooked. Extremely disappointing breakfast.
We had the most wonderful experience! My son has a nut allergy and the staff was so supportive and caring. I was so impressed and it put my son at ease. Carlos was so very attentive and helpful. He made us laugh and we enjoyed his service. He kept us in the loop throughout our visit (they were quite busy and things were taking longer). The food was delicious and filling. This will absolutely be out new breakfast stop whenever we’re in the city!
