Grew up in Winnipeg being a Hungs Garden regular well before they moved to Regent Ave. Have since moved out of province and was back visiting so of course had to reacquaint myself with my favourite Chinese restaurant. Ordered my usual Harvest in the Snow, Koo Loo chicken and Ginger Beef. Wow just as good as I remember from 5 years ago. Very flavourful, fresh and scrumptious…did not want it to end!
Incredible Chinese food. Everything tastes super fresh and was piping hot even after driving home with it. Ginger beef is among the best I've ever had. Highly recommend checking them out!
Great dining experience! I came from out of town and was recommended Hung's Garden. The food was excellent and good quality. Very friendly staff family owned and operated I will be back next time!
Not the place that it once was. Soup was barely warm and food was the same even after we complained, and had it re-heated. Telling us they couldn't serve HOT food because of regulations. Charginging over $60 for three dishes. Thanks, but no thanks!
Came here yesterday with some friends and the service was so friendly and attentive! We ordered the ginger beef, Singapore noodles and butter chicken.Truly disheartened with some of these reviews. We ordered 3 dishes, drinks and spring roll and the cost split was $19, $57 total for 3 people very reasonable.We will definitely be back!
I was bit disappointed with their servings for the price I paid. I always do take out at Chinese restaurant but this was the first time, I had a small serving that is not even good for two persons and for the taste, just the usual nothing fancy.
Extremely disappointed, considering the reviews. Way over priced for what you get. Spent just under $70 got a container of mushy rice with the meal, not even fried rice. Ginger beef dry and chewy. Ribs with minimal meat on them and very dry. Don't waste your time or money.
Best Ginger beef in town !!!! Honey Chicken is good too. The curry is a little spicy but really tasty !! Takeout discount on cash over 40$.
Best Chinese food in the city. The szechuan chicken and ginger beef are out of this world good!
One of the best chinese restaurants I've ever dined at!I've been a customer for years and whenever I visit Winnipeg, I make sure to stop by.The prices are a bit higher than most places but rest assure the value and quality is there. You get for what you pay for ?. Highly recommend the ginger beef!
