Great place and amazing tasting food, however it was so loud and foods came a bit late!
Great service and even better food. Patio that’s got shade and sunny spots.Pizza, salads, pasta, appies.
The setting was nice and SOME of the servers were too. Prices were pretty ridiculous but I guess it matches for a Jets' idea location. Our waitress was nice but forgot one of the drinks my friends had ordered. I asked the waitress that brought me my martini if they had a martini glass, since it was poured into a normal cylinder glass. She said they didn't have any martini glasses (which I thought was pretty crazy considering their drink menu had bottles of wine selling for $175 and the cheapest bottle was $43) but she did bring me a similar glass (not exactly a martini one) and it was chilled. I don't think I'll be going back to this expensive restaurant which was literally in the food court of the building but was a okay testing it out.
We went for dinner last night, a group of 12 for a friends birthday. The food was good, patio was nice. However, our server was not very friendly... she often appeared annoyed to be serving us which made our visit much less enjoyable.Further to reading other reviews service seems to be a large complaint...A restaurant as nice/pricey as this one you expect all around great service.
Server wasn’t the nicest or most personable. Probably because our group was younger than the target audience. Very good overall except for the vegetarian egg plant pasta (tasted too bitter with not much flavour and was a half effort dish to cater to someone vegetarian)
We booked Gusto north Patio for a party of 6 and the experience was terrible. Front counter took 10 mins to notice myself and my partner and took another 5 to find someone to look up our reservations. Our server kept forgetting our orders, she had to confirm 2-3 times with the lack of interest. She provided no suggestions for any alternative drink as some of the mixes for cocktails were out, nor any wine suggestions. Did not follow up during our meals and had to wave her down a few times. The only moment she showed some interest was when we were paying. Food was over priced, the oysters were quickly thawed to room temperature as it was served on salt compared to ice. Cheese board, scallops, Calamari were subpar, quite disappointing. We planed to splurge on a quality meal and service for a special occasion and Gusto north did not deliver.The over priced food did not bother me as much as the service. Service is what sets the atmosphere and vibe which again was so bad that we drove down to the Keg and manage to salvage our night. We had more food and drinks that cost less than Gusto north, not to mention better service…. I waited a month to write this review in hopes that I would forget, however a few other friends also had a similar experience.
9$ beer in a can, really slow and grumpy waitresses, tried the meat and cheese board, horrible choice in cheeses a blue cheese and a tasteless chalk tasting cheese, the other items on the board were not impressive with several sauces not being touched, between the four of us, it only gets a 3 due to the nice patio and overall interior presentation.Very slow service, for how busy it was, won't return.
Went to Gusto North for early dinner on a Friday. First off, the patio was lovely. The best part of the night. And the food looked quite good presentation wise. But, the food only tasted "ok". Thirty bucks is a lot for a somewhat small portion of bolognese pasta that tasted fairly average. The service was pretty bad. Our server kept forgetting about us. We kept grabbing her attention. Once got up and went inside asking her to come to our table after waiting 15-20 minutes after saying she said she'd be right back to take our order. Asked for a dessert menu later but that didn't come for another 20-25 minutes. Very frustrating. And the place wasn't really busy so I'm not sure what was going on. We just settled our bill quickly and left to go elsewhere. But, the patio was really nice. I'm not eager to go back.
