My son and I loved it here. The ramen was amazing! We will be back to try all the me u items. They all look so delicious.
Spicy Miso Ramen is extremely spicy and I wasn’t able to eat it. To be fair, I was offered during order taking if I wanted half spicy/full spicy. But I chose full spicy since my tolerance to spicy food is really high. It was like eating a bowl of chili paste soup, I couldn’t even taste the Miso. And I’ve been to Sapporo and know how the authentic “spicy” miso ramen tastes. My expectations were low but this was really bad. So I kindly asked if they can fix it and add a little
Order Spicy ramen and the normal one. The spicy one, they put Kimchi in it. What!!!! This is my first time trying this weird ramen. As an Asian and had a lot of good food in Asia, it’s one of the worst one. For normal ramen, the soup was not good, still a lot of rooms to improve. Comparing to the price, we don’t really recommend anyone to try.
Good food. A bit slow service but understanble as it was busy, crew was friendly and food was good that made for it. Will definetly go back soon.
We ordered the chicken karaage and tonton ramen as well as a beef teriyaki and yam roll. For $55 we got a half packet of Mr Noodle noodles, some deep fried gristle, and a sheet of seaweed. Oh, and what I swear was rotten beef in the sushi roll. The broth wasn't awful, I suppose.Never again.
Always excellent, fresh fish, good options for sushi. I here the ramen is great but have yet to try it.
Decor is great, service is pleasant, but the food is INCREDIBLE! If you think Ramen is a dish you make in the microwave, prepare to have your mind blown, no exaggeration. And fried octopus balls?! The Best.
Staff is ignorant and rude...
I'm not sure why there is black pepper and other spices on most of the rolls. I've dined at many sushi places here and in other provinces. I've never seen this done and feel like it over powers the beautiful simplicity of sushi and its flavors. Would recommend leaving these additions off and offered as an option to add. I would not purchase this again and don't believe we can even eat the 100 dollars worth of food I purchased.
The food was good. It’s what we expected since we are regulars are their sister company, Yujiro (Grant Avenue). We’ve been wanting to try Gaijin out for a while but since it’s pretty far from where we live, we only got around to it last night.Like I said, the food is good but I’m only giving it a 3-star because the ambiance and the service is not as good as Yujiro. Considering much of the menu is almost identical to what Yujiro offers, the service makes a world of a difference when comparing like to like and sadly, the service here just was disappointing.
