Shared a chicken roti with my sweet pretty-pretty at lunch today. I haven't been here in a few years but I'm making a point of eating local post-pandemic. Mo was still at the helm and we had our meal (chicken roti) in under two minutes. I mentioned we shared a meal, that's because the portions here are very generous. The meal was fresh, savoury, and authentic Caribbean cuisine. It's an odd location being at the base of the parkade but it's truly one of the most authentic dining experiences in the city. The plexiglass shields are still up which takes some of the charm away. Granted it was a rough two years. Glad this place is still on it's feet.
Super delicious! An unassuming hole-in-the-wall with home style charm. The owner was super friendly and chatted us up while he prepared out rotis - the jerk chicken is super flavourful and the hot sauce adds the perfect extra kick.

Food is always excellent with huge portions. If dining in for lunch get there early cuz it fills up quick, large portions with excellent money value, goat roti is the best I ever had way better than Bindy's. Everything is homemade from the roti on great service friendly owners always make you feel like you're coming home. Even the hot sauces are homemade and delicious. It's a shame you're only allowed to give them five stars I give it 10 any day hands down??????????
The location is weird and the "decor" is a interesting but it came highly recommended and boy, did it not disappoint. Roti is one of my husband and Is favorite dishes so we have had it all over the word and this was one of the best. I had goat roti - it had huge chunks of perfectly tender goat and the sauce was like gravy, thick and glistening and oh so flavourful. The roti itself was layered and perfect, obviously hand made. Boy is the hot sauce hot. They are not kidding, it is no Frank's. I smeared a tiny dab on the top of the roti a d spread it so thin you could not see it, but I could still taste it. Great flavour though too.Overall, don't get put off by the location and layout and give it a shot. Wow
Amazing roti! I had the lamb, chickpea, and potato. The hot sauce has some serious kick to it and is fantastic. Couldn't recommend more ?
I used to come here all the time! I love their food! I have brought tons of ppl and all my Carib friends who come from other places, this was always my go-to.But in the last few years, I honestly thought they closed! Every time I went by they were closed, for us working ppl, we have no chance unless we risk our lunch hours and even then, we don't get to enjoy our food until we get home and it's cold and soggy.I wish they could find a way to be open a bit later, most ppl are usually busy until 5 p.m. I'm not sure why they don't want the dinner rush, but to even stay open on the delivery apps until 5 p.m. would be a great change. Lol I am willing to work and keep you open lol we need your food!Well off to the kitchen to un-thaw some chicken and make my own ?. It's gonna be a long evening.
All around had a great experience at this restaurant. The owners are so friendly and the roti is delicious.
