A Nice Place to Catch Up With Friends... Our table of 4 arrived for Happy Hour at 3 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon. We made a reservation and our table was waiting for us in the lounge. The Dynamite Rolls are delicious and are my favourite go to choice on the menu. My husband always enjoys the fish tacos. The Raspberry Mojitos are offered during Happy Hour and are very good too. We love coming here!
We were seated on time. Once our server took our drink order, we waited 17 minutes for water before we could order a cocktail, and some food. Another server comes to bring us our water and says the previous server was being sent home, but she was still workingâ¦. The staff looked absolutely miserable! None of them smiled, which is uncomfortable to watch. I think thereâs a serious management issue., or lack there of! Our food was absolutely delicious! It took a long time for us to get our bill. We used the â electronic bill payâ thatâs on the tables to pay. As we walked out, we thanked the hostess. Sheâs glared at us miserably and just said â yepâ , after I just spent $127.00 and felt uncomfortable from aura of the miserable serving staff. Sadly, this isnât unusual at Earls St.Vital. The service never seems to improve. Itâs always so slow, and seeing the staff so miserable will make look to dine elsewhere, which is too bad because earls is in my neighborhood.

Server Shayna was AMAZING!!! She was so attentive, friendly efficient with a wonderful sense of humor. She really made our evening special. We were meeting up with two neighbours we havenât seen in three years and she was so very kind and accommodating. Employees like her definitely make your venue special!
We know that Earls is usually a great place to eat. We made an online reservation and drove quite far to eat dinner. When we arrived there was simply a sign on the door saying they had to close. It is unfortunate that something caused a shut down. However, given that the online reservation system has our phone and e-mail contacts, it should have been simple to let us know they were closed before we drove across town. There were two other groups arriving at the same time who were equally baffled. I would have appreciated advance warning which should have been easy for Earls to provide.
It was great and I frequent the restaurant often.
Went to Earlâs for a birthday dinner. I had the Cajun salmon, and my partner had steak tataki with sushi and an added crab cake. Everything was delicious! Food presentation was lovely and our meals were so flavourful. We ordered several different cocktails and they were also delicious⦠although a bit pricey. Servers were very friendly and personable. Ambience was great.

We really appreciated seeing several vegan dish options provided in the menu. Many places only offer 1 dish. We recommend it to other people who prefer vegan fare. One recommendation is to offer a vegan dessert.
Me and my lady took our 14 month old daughter to Earl's. It was happy hour the prices were really good. The food was great and the staff was really nice. They even had a really sweet table mounting high chair. The service was fast too and the executive chef came made our daughter some awesome broccoli and yams. Very friendly!
