One of my favourite places to eat and shop in Winnipeg. The quality of their food is great, the staff is friendly, and it is such a cute little location. I've been coming here for lunch since I was a toddler and coming here for lunch has never lost it's special touch, it is one of my favourite places to share food with friends. Their bakery has yummy cookies & other treats, and their pasta and pizza at the restaurant is unmatched. I feel like everywhere I go I am comparing the pasta to DeLuca's penne with marinara sauce. 5/5 for food and community feel, and prices are reasonable too :)
I've been shopping at Delucas my whole life as I grew up (and still live in) the West End. When I was a kid I thought "everyone" used places like Delucas as their local grocery, but I later realized that I was just very lucky to have this incredible resource nearby.I've been in Italian specialty stores all over North America and Delucas can go toe-to-toe with any of them. It's not a massive store but they have such a wide variety of items and always try to bring in anything you don't see. I appreciate their commitment to bringing in local brands. Thanks!
Wasn’t impressed with today’s encounter. Older gentleman was staring at us while we went to pay.... I thought he’d be happy for business but this fellow had zero customer service skills. Didn’t even say hello back to us.... unfriendly and lacked manners. Good quality products but poor customer service skills. Next time I’ll shop local elsewhere, where a bad taste hopefully won’t be left behind.
I had the worst, and best experience with Deluca's today! I placed an online order that got lost in cyberspace. I called the store and within 10 minutes, on one of the most blustery days, Deluca's staff went above and beyond to have my gift delivered the same day! Thank you!
You can def find high quality products here. The place looks very nice and organized. There’s also a small bakery inside and a restaurant upstairs.
I wanted to share my experience at the Portage location today. I needed to run into the store to pick up a platter that was ordered for Christmas. I carried my little one in with me in his car seat as I knew the store isn't the most stroller friendly. The store was busy which is to be expected this time of year. I waited for my turn at the meat counter and was told to take my invoice upfront to pay then come back to the counter to pick the platter up. I went to wait in the line, which was pretty long, but I had no problem waiting. A different gentleman that was working at the meat counter came up to me in line and told me to come with him. I hesitated as I didn't want any special treatment as others had been waiting in line longer than me, but he insisted. He brought me right to the register to pay and asked me where I had parked so he could grab the platter and carry it to my car for me. This was not expected but greatly appreciated! Thank you to this gentleman and to De Luca's! Great customer service doesn't go unnoticed.
Have ordered from Deluca's many times and it's consistently fantastic! Ordered a catered luncheon for the first time from their new South location. Antonio took care of everything with great efficiency. Felt completely taken care of. He even provided a warmer to keep the food warm during transport. Thank you Antonio and Deluca's. You did not disappoint!

Just bought a machine from Fabio, spent a couple of hours in the store while we got everything sorted out and looked at. Having to replace equipment as a business owner is never a pleasant thing, but Fabio and his team turned a not so fun time into a great experience. We shopped around and visited the cafe, everyone was lovely.
