We enjoyed our lunch today. Had been to this restaurant a few times in the past as well - always enjoyed the food there. We ordered 3 different pizzas today - Los Immortales, Guerrin, and the Salmon Ahumado. All were unique in their flavour profiles- and we liked them all. The Tuco sauce is their house pizza sauce - tomated based. The Salmon pizza had a pesto sauce as the base - fantastic flavour of the pesto and the salmon. Drink menu has a lot of choices - we decided on a couple of cappuccinos. They were blended nicely with a lovely coffee bean flavour. It wasn't busy today for lunch, hard to say what it looks like Monday to Friday with its downtown/exchange district location. We would recommend this restaurant for interesting pizza combinations. Nice decor. Street parking is available. A nice size restaurant- enough space to gather with a few friends or family. Thanks for another great meal.
I ordered a box of empanadas and they were legit! When I passed my dad the box he said I should have warned him because the box was so heavy. They were perfectly filled and had a tender and not-greasy crust. The bonus chimichuri sauce was garlicky and fresh. I can’t wait to go back and have pizza. Great food and service! One of our meals was not right and we appreciated that they fixed the problem right away and brought a new dish. Would love to see them carry gluten free bread so that gluten free folks can also enjoy their sandwiches on the lunch menu. However, overall it was really yummy food and good service.
Service was fantastic - our hostess could rifle off every detail of each menu item we asked about with ease, and provided our party with recommendations that were incredible.As a vegetarian there were several delicious items to choose from, including various empanadas, pizzas, appetizers and other mains.We went for lunch, however the space is great for any time of day - and spacious enough for larger gatherings, with cozy corners for more intimate dining as well.If you order pizza - or anything savoury for that matter - opt for the pizza seasoning, or ask for it right off the hop ?Absolutely stunning - 10/10 would recommend✨
we wanted something different and Corrientes came highly recommended for dinner. We arrived and were greeted warmly. Our server was friendly and delightful. There was even live music with a guitarist playing acoustic guitar quietly throughout the evening we had a variety of Empanada's for starters and then a pizza for the main meal. We had chocolate mousse for dessert. The food was delicious. The Emapanda's were excellent and full of flavour. My favourite was the Moroccan one and it was spicy. The only downfall was the entire restaurant had only one server. She was doing her best and she was smiling and helpful...but she could not look after all of us. Two women stood behind the bar the whole night and did not do much to support. For example, I never got a refill on my water glass. I had to ask. We had cocktails to start but she was too busy to ask us if we wanted a refill or another drink. I wanted an espresso with my dessert but she was too busy to take my order (dessert came while I was in the bathroom) so I did without... the lack of servers resulted in us ordering less and had a lower bill as a result at the end of the evening. It was a good evening but not a great evening here.
Amazing mixta salad (yes, seriously, a salad was amazing) and excellent crispy crust pizzas. Highly recommend. Take a moment to look at the framed pictures on the wall of the owners' brushes with rock n roll greatness.
Argentine pizzeria with fast and efficient service. Our 2 pizzas were excellent, very tasty. Casual atmosphere.
We really liked this place. Great atmosphere. Live music. Our server Kim was delightful. And the food was ok too. Peanut butter pizza, a first for me!
If you’re looking for really good pizza with interesting flavour combos this is your place! Have been several times, the most recent trying the Summer Time (figs, goat cheese and pretty edible flowers) and the salmon..both were delicious! This pizza is one where you won’t skip eating all the crust..it’s thin and so tasty. Nice environment as well. One of our favs.
