This place Had the most rude server ever. She wouldn’t even seat us. We tried to get a table and i asked about drinks and what kinda of food they have. She told us to go to tim hortons. She said she wouldn’t seat us for just drinks. Please no one ever go here again. I even wanted to try the deep fried perogies but she wouldn’t serve me cause i am ordering not a lot of things. I wont ever go back even if she gets fired. They need to go out of business.
Server was so rude. She yelled at me and the other customers and the place was dirty. Go here if you want salmonella and anger. The single WORST Chinese restaurant in winnipeg and i have been to almost all of them in the city. Seriously, I wouldn’t go back even if you paid me to.
I have a great experience every time I go to sit down. The staff is very kind and the food is amazing. Food has large portions for a low price. Most definitely worth trying, this is now my favorite Chinese restaurant. recommend the beef chow mein.
Dim sum is over priced. Gave it a try anyways and the dumplings are tiny, half a serving from other restaurants in the city. Do not recommend this place for dim sum.
Excellent service, large portions, food VERY good, made extra spicy at our request, fast service, very clean, this is our 2nd visit and we will be back!!!!

We ordered Dim Sum and a few other items from China City for takeout. Out of 10 items only 1 item came in a recyclable container. Just think of all that Styrofoam in our landfills. Curry is their favourite spice... it is in everything! Great if you love the taste of curry in everything! The food in general is OK but not over the top, again if you like curry. We would not be ordering or visiting this restaurant again.
I found a piece of steal wool in our fried rice. I have an 8 month old starting solid food and this is very serious to find . Im never ordering or recomending from here anymore. And we used to love this place. Id give 0 stars if i could. There would be alot more swearing but id like to censor it for others.
