Food is always good but didn't have to wait 45 minutes for my food when picking up this time
Waited at drive thru for 10 minutes to order, then 39 minutes at the window for our order after they took our $$Why is there not chicken cooking & ready.3 cars behind us.? OMG
I took my family out for dinner at the chicken chef on portage ave. Everything tasted amazing! we ordered a 3 piece chicken meal, a cheese pizza, and the quesadillas. Everyone enjoyed the food as it tasted amazing! We are making this place a sunday evening dinner routine. Highly reccomend!
Went for lunch and got 3 piece chicken, dinner bun, fries and gravy lunch special, my mom got the 2 piece chicken with fries and gravy and also ordered a side of bacon for my son.Waited about 30+ mins food, there wasn't very many people in the restaurant, chicken was sorta hot, fries were cold and gravy was cold.The side bacon only came with literally 1 super crispy super thin piece that was broken in two. Waitress was very polite and nice. Great service from her. But the kitchen needs to do better. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the waitress.
Good location. Parking available around. This location has drive thru services. I found this business takes hell lot of time these days which keeps drive thru busy. Customer service is never great
Amazing, will never order from anywhere else ever again when my family wants a chicken dinner. Everything is great.. fries and gravy, chicken burger and bucket of chicken… so good
Ordering take out from chicken chef is an adventure to be sure. You will rarely receive what you ordered. I'm not sure whether the problem is inadequate staff training or incompetent management.Although we live very near the Dale Blvd location we gave up ordering from there as it seemed they were incapable of getting even the most simple order correct. We have since ordered for delivery from the unicity location. But the problems continue .. we ordered 2 dinners with 2 side gravies .... we received only 1 gravy. We ordered 1 dinner with mashed potatoes ... we were shocked to discover they were ice cold as tho just taken from a refrigerator.We called to complain and we were offered free potatoes and free gravy. We don't want free potatoes,, we just want our meal to be stress free.Obviously chicken chef has a huge staffing/management problem.and it's time for us to
Food portion is ok, but , order sour cream it’s extra, order bacon bits , it’s extra, order salad other than Cole so, it’s. Prices gone up, staffing turnover. Used to be able to get your choice of condiments with order at no extra charge. Disappointed. Will not likely go back again.
They never get the order right. Always something missing. So If you live out of town, well you aren't going back in to the city to get it. So you go without. This will be the last time we ever give our business to the 3770 Portage Ave location ever again.
I almost didn't order because of the negative reviews but I'm staying at the hotel next door and out was too easy to call and walk over to pick it up 15 minutes later. The chicken was delicious, moist and hot. We really enjoyed our meal.
