Very disappointed. I was so looking forward to having ChicChef tonight. My last order before returning to Toronto. Moved to Winnipeg in October 2020 and fell in love with chicken chef.Tonight, the chicken was over cooked and the skin was dark and greasy. The pizza was doughy, cold and the sauce tasted sweet.I’ve always enjoyed chicken chef and it was the only meal I wanted before going back
The food isn't as good as it used to be. Chicken Caeser tasted like it had been in the ice box for too long and had too much lemon juice added. Croutons were soggy as well as the garlic bread. The chicken was cold. Also ordered a chicken burger but the entire bun was soggy, and the lettuce was brown. Chicken was overly salted. Fries were cold. I would recommend going somewhere else. Unfortunate, because they used to have good food.
Very good spot. The server Darrin was courteous and prompt. He even wrote a nice note on the back of my bill saying "Make today count"! Chicken was moist and breading crisp. 2 piece snack chicken with a side caesar salad just under 10$ is very reasonable these days for a quick lunch.
Delicious! The dining room Host was so warm, friendly, knowledgeable, relatable. The owner passed through the restaurant to check his car and greeted everyone with such a caring and warm smile and tone. And did I say the food was DELICIOUS. This is a go to now when I am in the st. Boniface area
This place says they deliver. Tried to have a contactless delivery to a patient at St. Boniface Hospital and the manager refused to deliver even though arrangements were made at the hospital for easy drop off at the main atrium and it was all paid for. Shame! Lost my business.
Ordered a big meal for our Christmas Eve family gathering online, almost $200 worth of food. When the order was almost an hour late I phoned to inquire, no answer so I drove down there, all dark and nobody around. Lots of places close early, that's understandable, I have no issue with that. What I'm FURIOUS about is that they took my order AND my money AND gave me a delivery time, with NO indication that they were never going send it! Thankfully Mary Brown's was able to save the day!
Been going there for breakfast (and take-out lunch) over the last little while (prior to Covid) and have never been disappointed with the quality of food and level of service. I'll continue to be a customer.

Ordered chefs combo pizza and cheese pizza for my wife's birthday, had to wait for pizza when I got there, only one was ready, ordered at 4pm before supper rush, live 2 mins away and pizza was Luke warm when got home, cheese on pizza was not even soft, bacon on top looked like was added after the fact as was not even crispy. Big disappointing birthday supper for my wife.
My favorite chicken and fries with gravy and it's a fine dining restaurant. ?
