One of Eastside Winnipeg's hidden gems. Breakfast has huge portions of potatoes (I now ask for half-size), the bacon is excellent, and the meal is always hot when it arrives. Service is excellent. The menu offers a broad range of items including longaniza sausage, garlic rice & other South Asian specialties. Parking can be a bit of an issue due to the shape of the lot, two food trucks & daily delivery vehicles to the grocery store on the same lot. Charlee's has been in Elmwood a long time; the decor & signage reflect that: honest & neighborhood appropriate. Opens at 9am, but check for changes to that.

Been here a couple times with the wife (plus we've ordered during Le Poutine Week, which is what made us WANT to try the restaurant in the first place)Great food, great coffee and friendly service.So far we've tried the Reuben, the Monte Cristo, the Sweet Chili Chicken wrap and the Philly Cheese steak. The chicken pot pie soup is amazing and they make a great fry.Good portions, good pricing. All around a solid neighborhood restaurant!

Great atmosphere, must show vaccine proof, safety first. Masks to walk around, no mask at table? Food and drink, big screens for the sports fans, social distancing, karaoke. It was entertaining. I'll definitely go back.

Phenomenal experience, great staff always feeling welcomed. The owner is really hot , that’s a plus but anyways back to the food the food is amazing you got to eat here!
