I've been visiting Calabria for many years to purchase my wines & pastas. The last few experiences there weren't amazing. Awhile back 2 employees complaining about someone at the front desk. Thought nothing further about it other than probably not the most professional thing to say in front of a customer.But today I'm picking up some wine and the female cashier says "better put these in a bag so you don't look like a whino" Like what? Why would you say that? Then when I thought I couldn't get more offended, I handed her my cash, in her disappointment she was shocked by this gesture. She was appalled that I would pay with cash rather than a credit card. Implying that I was slowing her long line up. I looked behind me and there were 2 people standing in line. In my 20 years of working retail I've never been slowed down by a cash sale. Unless someone was grabbing a bunch of change. Which I was not. I gave her 2x $20bills.Regardless, of how I paid or what my purchase may have been. This behavior was unprofessional and uncalled for. This seems to be a pattern for this company.Obviously feeling like my business is not important, I will be taking it elsewhere. I do not plan on returning here after being humiliated like that.

Where do i start the candense pizza was the best pizza i’ve ever had! it was creamy gooey and cheesy. And not terrible like other places. The young lady on the salad duty was very friendly and went out of the way to help me and the salad was amazing.

Great place for lunch and dinner. Pasta made fresh and the subs are amazing. Plus lots of unique wine on hand too to compliment your take home dinner.
Where to begin...well, let's just jump in. Calabria, the place I have driven by my whole life but never went in gained a long life customer this week. It started with picking up a wine advent calendar (easily the best one in the city, or anywhere you can deliver from). Helped me from start to finish, as two different associates dropped what they were doing to give me a hand. I returned a couple of days later to just puruse the store and left with a plethora of stuff. Great deli counter, amazing premade meals, awesome wine selections and really so much more. They pack alot of treats in this store, so you'll find a new gem everytime. Best gift baskets on the market, all I can say is thank you and I'm sorry it took me so long to find you.
Almost perfect. Amazing pizza and subs. We love frequenting this place. Sadly, last visit was lacking. Wanted a few subs. Got an unhappy employee who gave so little cold cuts we left with 3 sad bread subs. Would like to see consistency with staff when prepping food. Will be back and hope this was just a one off bad experience.
All the staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. The owner is particularly nice and you can tell she really cares about her business. They have a great selection of specialty ingredients and a very good selection of wine. I went here because a friend recommended the take home pizzas and I’m very impressed each time I visit!
Love, love their chicken lasagna. Their meat cannelloni is also outstanding. We have always bought the pizza. Still the best. Such a unique and lovely store.
