Awesome beef ribs. The pork ribs are very good too. This place is on my list of must goto places in Winnipeg

Neighborhood pub, restaurant . Enjoy coming here, our last minute go to place. Food is good, French onion soup, reuben sandwich, stir fry, club sandwich. Chicken fingers, caesar salad all good food just to name a few.Plus they removed some good items from the menu.But for the last 2 years it seems the prices increase constantly. Like from $12.99 to 18.99, From 9.99 to $17.99 now.Will not be coming as often, now. Our bill was $20.00 more than a couple months ago for same order. With these increases its harder to go out for a meal, Extremely pricey for neighborhood restaurant. :(
Went to Big Guys for my first outing since having a baby in February with my baby, partner, mother inlaw and sister inlaw and it did not dissapoint ! The food was AMAZING, the waitress was so ontop of drinks it was fantastic and almost shocking in a good way, and the owner was making us laugh. We will now be loyal returning customers, absolutely would recommend. Can't wait to go back ! The potato skins were amazing, nachos are hugeee and layered so well and the chicken fried steak was perfect.Thanks guys ! ( I also loved the decor )My dad's name was guy (hes not with us anymore but ge was literally a big guy and would gave loved this place) and he had the same decor style too, warmed my heart.
Service excellent. Food portions are plentiful. My only criticism would be a little more flavor in the Fajitas and Texas Enchiladas. Pleasant evening with friends.

The Best. The most relaxed, easiest, friendly place in south Winnipeg to go. BG's (as our kids call it) is place that keeps our whole family happy. We at least agree on one thing, BG's to eat at on "no Cooking" nights. Hot wings and chicken fries steak are my faves.
Great food. Friendly staff. First time there and had a great experience. Had the hot wings and they are ?! Was a little cold in the place but still great!
One of Winnipeg's finest Steakhouse restaurant it's a must dine at restaurant if you are visiting family or quick weekend visit for a hockey game, theater, movie or shopping spree!!! The best Ribs in town hands down...
