Delicious dinner with fresh and expertly prepared ingredients, friendly staff and the owner/chef clearly loves his gift with food and people
Beaurivage! A special Lebanese restaurant with heart! We ordered 2 “dinners for two” and from the moment of ordering to the eating it was a fabulous experience!! The chef took the time to explain each dish when we ordered it and everything was as described and more. We rarely ever get take out prepared with such care and charisma! Each dish was artfully presented, and the flavours so authentically Lebanese and with great flare. The stuffed grape leaves and kibbeh were absolutely delicious and the pan seared cauliflower was amazing! The chef waited until we arrived to pick up our order to toss the salad so that it would still be crisp and fresh when we got home. The shawarma, everything was so delicious. And with baklava and the best spiced Lebanese coffee we have ever had as the perfect finish. Portions were plentiful feeding 4 adults with plenty left over. Beaurivage is now a new favorite of ours and we will be going back for more! Looking forward to a dine-in experience next time!!
Best food in Winnipeg! Absolutely delicious you will not be disappointed. Chef is a lovely fellow. Will be returning again and again. ♥️
If you want great Lebanese food this is the place to eat! Remember, you get what you pay for and George make and absolutely incredible feast.
Wanted to have some food from my middle eastern roots, and here we had some loft as with salad and hummus. So healthy and appetizing!
Mixed experience. Food was great and the chef was delightful. However, the wine list just says "white wine" at $28 -- when brought to our table, it turned out to be Barefoot Pinio Grigio. This is a $10 bottle of wine. If you are serving good food, don't serve bad wine and charge 3x the price! Also, although I had paid for the "supreme" meal that includes dessert and tea/coffee, and I told the server when I placed the order that I had an allergy to an ingredient in the baklava, it was only when she served the dessert to the rest of the table that she told me that there was nothing for me. Couldn't the chef have something else on hand? And why not tell me when I ordered rather than just say "nothing for you"? As well, the mint tea was served in a large ordinary teapot and mug with one poor tea bag and it was not hot enough and too weak as it had a chemical taste. We also were not served water at our table and the server was not very attentive. Cutting corners like this left me feeling suspicious and kind of ripped off.
George is a charming host and provides an authentic Lebanese culinary experience. Everything about Beaurivage Bistro exceeds expectations!
