Food good but the root beer slush tasted weird. Also mixed up on our order. Still decent place though

They have a great plant based burger.it was quite delicious.Their kids meals are nice
We were not comfortable any more eating indoors at this location as there was an old man staring at us and we had a child with us..also there was a couple that spent time in a bathroom together for a very long time . Although the service and the food was very good, we will not eat at this location again
I ordered a plain teenburger with Ketchup, Bacon and Cheese only. Every time I tried to order, the staff member kept cutting me off after every item customization, then not understanding what I wanted. After literally 5 minutes, we got as far as teenburger, extra bacon and ketchup. It took another 3 minutes to get her to understand normal bacon, not extra. She then changed it to extra ketchup, still no cheese. Finally she added the cheese. Total time was 14 minutes from the time we got to the speaker to an almost correct order. We gave up and took the extra ketchup as it was close enough, we just had to remove some. Will not return to this location.

We rarely go to A&W as a whole because their burgers are way to heart-stopping salty, but figured why not get a breakfast combo today, splurge a little. Bad idea. Had our items delivered, missing 3 items from it, got a refund of a shocking 6 cents through skip. I'm both angry at skip for not giving me a full refund on the missing items, and I'm angry at this restaurant location for not knowing how to read a list of items and putting them in a bag.
Food and service meet expectations, but parking lot is a calamity. Parking should be banned on the side of the restaurant between 11:00 and 1:00 due to always being boxed in by drive thru patrons and it took me at least 5 minutes to get back out of my spot.

I am never disappointed when I go to the Sturgeon and Portage location. The breakfast is always hot, fresh and flavorful. The staff including manager at the drive thru window are always friendly. I like the policy of them not scanning coupon so you can comeback and reuse over and over. And they do what they can to ensure fast service. It's a well run restaurant and it is probably my favorite A&W in the city...
