BEST SUSHI I’ve ever had in Whistler/ Vancouver! The restaurant is such a vibe too!!Everything is sooo delicious and tasty.Parking was pain though! We had to park a little far and walk to the village , 5 min walk.Washrooms are available.Waitresses were very kind.Make sure you RESERVE a table
Good sushi and taste good, but all other food cooked at back in the kitchen are just “eatable”, which if you have a chance, just try something else on the menu. Server is not busy but only saw her twice. So far the price is still the same as a few years ago.
I'll admit I was skeptical when I saw the location and general aesthetic of the restaurant but that was quickly put to bed when the food started to arrive. Every dish was fresh and delicious. We tried a little bit of everything and enjoyed it thoroughly. The spicy agadashi tofu is a must. Will be going again sometime. Highly recommended!
A lively and delicious place for sushi.Great cuts, reasonable prices and fun staff and customers. Will be back, always leave satisfied!
Ordered takeout with a 5 person group to our chalet. Although it was a smaller menu, the quality and freshness of the sushi was amazing! We ordered pretty well everything on the menu and it was all delicious and super fresh. Tuna and salmon sashimi were probably of the best quality and freshness I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.
The 3 Stars is not so much about the food being bad, but more about the prices. Up to 9$ for a single piece of Nigiri and similar examples. Most of the stuff we ordered tasted fine, but didn't warrant the price we payed for it. Especially the tempura was disappointing, as it mostly tasted bland. But to give credit where credit is due, the staff was very kind and pleasant and we got seated right away and like I said, the food wasn't actually bad, just too expensive.
The food was amazing and our kids loved it. The location was excellent and service was great and attentive. My only concern was that unlike most Whistler restaurants, we could not book a table for our family of four. Not surprisingly, this resulted in a 45 min wait time for a table. It wasn't an issue for us since we were staying in the adjoining hotel and easily made it within the 10 min window when the restaurant texted the table was ready. It's unlikely we would have eaten here if we were at another hotel ... that would have been a shame because the dinner was fantastic.
We never leave Whistler without at least one dinner at Sushi Village. It is phenomenal! Ambiance is great. Love the sunken booths! Always able to take care of my gluten free issues - I've never had an incident. Everyone leaves very full and exceptionally happy. This time we brought another family with us and they too raved about how great it was. See you next year!
Seriously the best. Must try the spicy agadeshi tofu and their green salad dressing is so good they sell it in the village. One of our favourite places to visit when we stay up at Whistler
Not the most fresh but was not bad. Was expensive for what you get.The beef was good
