This was a happy find. It's a bit hidden from the main corridor of the Village. My wife and I loved the Hippie bowl ... amazing flavour ...it brought us back the next morning. Our kids enjoyed the waffles and breakfast poutine. Staff were extremely friendly.
We had booked this for a dinner reservation but I was not sure about it so we popped in for brunch/lunch the day before. We were not very impressed - the place seemed tatty and dingy and the food was not great so ended up cancelling our dinner reservation. Maybe we just visited on an off day.
Absolutely wonderful experience!Unfortunately I didn't make a reservation in advance, but got lucky to be able to get a table for me and a friend with little to no wait time. The staff are very prompt and exceptionally friendly.Food was amazing. I recommend grabbing an appetizer before a main based on portions!Must try the Kale Caesar Salad when you go here! To die for.One thing I would like to see is a menu category for any non-alcoholic beverage options. My friend doesn't drink and they would have enjoyed seeing if there were any non-alcoholic beverage available similar to Earls - almost a 'mocktail' menu.Still a great experience and will highly recommend to anyone!!
Stonesedge has and will continue to be our go to spot in Whistler. It’s the perfect balance between class and casual, and the food/drinks are always amazing. Our last time here was a short visit, but Natasha provided a friendly and professional service as she always does. She is very personable and knows what to recommend to ensure you have the best experience at Stonesedge. I love the introduction of new vegetarian/vegan dishes lately and can’t wait to see what else you add to your menu!
As reservations are required in most places in Whistler these days, I called before going for brunch on our off day. I could not book online. I was told on the phone that there was no need to book, I just had to show up. We walked over and when we arrived we were turned away because they were having a private event. Couldn't they just tell us this minutes earlier to avoid us walking over.
McCaleigh is a super chill and fun host. 10/10 would recommend!
We were here with a group. We had pre-arranged breakfast. Originally it was supposed to start at 7:30 but then they moved it to 8 o’clock. A little late for our group but we went along. They then tried to change it from 730 to 9, and then ultimately kept pressuring our group to keep our breakfast from 8 AM to 9 AM. The food was just so-so. Bacon was raw ish the first day. Requested well don and they remedied the next day. Staff were friendly and tried to accommodate, with the exception of trying to cram us in to an hour. Issues were likely related to staffing shortage. However, due to timing, I had to buy breakfast two days.
The drinks (Peachy Keen and Rhubarb Rhubarb) were great. The food was distinctly mediocre, especially for the price. Every dish was at least half potatoes, and the taste was just okay.
We were so happy our hotel recommended this restaurant. We wanted a more substantial breakfast before skiing and this delivered. Excellent service, fresh and delicious food, and conveniently located right in the village.
Thank you to the awesome staff at Stonesedge for a great dining experience! Hannah and Adam were particularly pleasant and attentive! I’ll definitely be back ☺️
