The hidden gem of Whistler! We were so glad we went out of our way to find this cute little restaurant.Amazing lasagna, great chicken parmigiana, delicious brownies and fresh coffee to top it off (oh and a very reasonably priced bottle of Italian wine!).The staff was welcoming and helpful. Don't settle for the tourist traps, go there!
Tucked away in a plaza is this great local italian resturant. It's a small place...about 10 tables.... with great food. The chicken parm accompanied by house made pasta was one of the best I have ever had. The fresh basil sea salt bread was a delight when dunked into their perfectly seasoned tomato sauce. They don't take reservations, but the 30 minute wait was well worth it. It's a local treasure in Whistler's sea of endless tourist traps.
We come here with 2 kids and they ask us for masks to get in and we have one mask so we go out get more masks and come back 3 min later and now they don’t have a table. They were like wait for 15 min. F…k no all this and now to wait to spend money in that restaurant. All this bulls..t with masks would make sense if this place is bigger then one small room all together with people working in the back. What kind of sense is to ask people for the masks at the door and your table is literally one step away and there you can seat without masks. They should use common sense but I guess it’s not there….
We got a takeaway lasagna the evening we arrived. SOOO good that we couldn't resist going back. This was our top choice in Whistler - informal, lively and a special experience... it's small, not fancy and has an amazing feel and atmosphere. I couldn't resist the veggie lasagna again and my husband had sausage arrabiata. What can I say? Another reviewer said best pasta they ever had - I think they are right!
We ordered takeout, 2 create your own pasta and veggie lasagna. Added roasted veggies with our create your own pasta and only got a little bit of zucchini. Not worth the extra $4 add on.. Food tasted good, but for the amount of food that was given for the price, definitely not worth it..
They made their own pasta from scratch. However, there’s nothing so special from the entire experience aside from the perfectly cooked pasta.
Pasta Lupino is one of our fave Whistler spots -- we go every trip! The portions are well-sized and pretty cheap, they have customizable options to appeal to everyone in your group, and every pasta comes with free bread for the table and a starter soup or salad! There are plenty of meat options and vegetarian options, as well as vegan. They make all their pasta noodles fresh in-house, which means they have egg in them, so if you're a strict vegan just let your server know. They have gnocchi on hand (not housemade) for gluten free folks, and turns out it's also vegan! So as a vegan I was able to get gnocchi with arrabbiata sauce (spicy tomato), but the plain red sauce is also vegan. The salad option is vegan, and they typically have two seasonal soups. When we went this time, one had chicken, and the other was an artichoke tomato lentil stew that was vegan and delicious. Such friendly people and tasty food! They don't take reservations and it's quite small, so get there early or be prepared to wait. It's worth it!You can also pre-order a feast to go and reheat back at your place, we've done that to feed a big group before. Again, you get a lot of good food for a very reasonable price!
We went for the first time last night. The chicken parmigiana was delicious and we enjoyed the fresh pasta choices. Our waiter, Drew, was friendly and helpful. We will be back!
This place was incredible and a hidden gem. We ordered the veggie lasagna with meat sauce (pictured) and a pasta with rose sauce. We took our server’s suggestions and they did not disappoint everything tasted delicious and was very hearty. Soup of the day and bread was incredible too. The prices were also very reasonable.
Freshly made pasta and delicious sauce! This place is a must go if you’re in whistler! Located right in the heart of the village, this restaurant is one that I will be recommending to anyone I know going to Whistler!
