What a nice surprise!! Excellent food and service. We had the set dinner menu - which I can really recommend! Thank you!

Food besides hotpot is good but service is bit difficult. Had the shabushabu hotpot, soup broth is water with 2 piece of seed weed. Portion is small and not very flavourful. $80 for 2 people is bit overpriced.

Everything I ordered here was amazing, had the Shabu Shabu, Tropical Roll, Yakitori, etc. You can't go wrong here, though there is a bit of wait for the food, mainly due to staff shortages because of COVID the patience is definitely worth the food here! You can tell that the chefs care a lot about the food as everything is perfectly seasoned and cooked.I will be coming here again next time I'm in Whistler, food is amazing and the waiters are attentive and friendly.

Nabe Sukiyaki is delicious, my wife wanted to return here everyday to have it.From my perspective, I really enjoyed the Nigiri blue fin tuna, the chutorro and the oh toro. Try the Ramune (Japanese soda) too for the flavor and novelty.Very friendly Dori served us and helped us navigate through the multiple choices. A must visit!

You definitely don’t want to miss their Sukiyaki. Put the meat in soup for just 10 seconds, you feel like in the heaven, especially after your snowboarding and skiing.?⛷This little store is very cozy, warm, comfortable and feel like at home. Their green tea flavour desserts are also very recommended which are not too sweet.

This place is under the pump. Only two waiters during dinner service. Nice enough but perhaps an extra waiter would help with waiting times.Food understandably took a bit to come (single chef in the kitchen) but waiters (servers in this country?) could have been a bit more attentive. They forgot about our beer and sake; asked half hour after sitting down then it came.Only asked as the table who came after us started getting food and beverages.Food went down well; some dishes fairly priced others not so much. No complaints about the quality.

If there’s an option for no star I would do that for this restaurant. DONT GO!!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!! The waiters seem nice but they make you wait forever. They smile at you and say yes to your requests then never look at you or give you what you asked. Our sukiyaki came two hours after we ordered, which is ridiculous because it’s raw when served. Why did you need that much time?I don’t understand. The food is definitely not worth the wait. You guys indeed have some management issues. You are not a French Michelin 3-star restaurant. People don’t wait for Japanese food for this long. You don’t even have the Wagyu. Yet you think you are the finest Japanese restaurant in town.Lastly about the price, why is tip included? Shame on you! You don’t ask for tips when you have no service. I gave 22%tips like you asked anyway, because I see you as a bunch of beggars.Service is laughable. Food is pathetic. Hope you close down during pandemic. Trust me you won’t last.

Amazing food. Best Japanese I’ve ever had. Freshest sashimi and sushi. Coming back for the hot pot!
