Limited menu and early closing most days. Has been better in previous years. Good location and great views over the skiers plaza. Still affected by covid protocols (early April 2022).Should get back to its former fun and atmosphere when these are removed.
The place is good, but unfortunately the service is one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Waitresses with an attitude, rolling their eyes if after 5 min after you arrive you still don’t know what to order. We felt terribly uncomfortable with all the attitude going on. As if they were doing you a favor
We had an excellent afternoon at the bar of GLC. The bar tenders, Jimmy and Aaron were top guys, serving us with awesome cocktails and banter! Chicken wings were a great accompaniment to the beer, and overall surroundings are top notch. A highly recommended visit if you fancy some Apres Ski! They also have some great live music acts on later in the afternoon.
We are vegan for climate change and our health. The food here claimed to be vegan but clearly was not. Covid measures are tight for customers - I suspect they have been caught out by checks, but staff wear mask under nose and are dreadful re Covid safety and hygiene in general. Avoid and save your money and visit Dubh Linn Gate opposite instead when skiing on mountain and avoid in evening too.
Shout out to Tom the bartender and Leah our server. Lovely locals with great service and conversation even on a hectic day. Thanks you two! Gorgonzola fries and beer weren’t too bad either.
Great food and service, a little pricey, but it is whistler after all
The food here is great! Inside is really nice with a fire and sofas etc. The only thing I could fault, is that there isn’t many tables in the sun so you get quite chilly outside.
The GLC is a classic part of our Whistler acres, we always grab a couple of drinks and something to eat and this year was no exception! We over-ordered on the food front, but had a great time nonetheless!
Great location and lively atmosphere - right by Whistler village lifts. I like that they have some healthier options on the menu. Got the poke bowl and it was fresh and delicious!
