I’ve been visiting this “coffee” shop since it’s first iteration as Pikolo. It used to be about the coffee, excellent espresso based drinks, pour-over and an excellent selection of beans from a variety of roasters. Sadly this in no longer the case. Since it has changed hands (and names) the coffee bean selection has gone down hill, they no longer do pour over, and their espresso based drinks aren’t much better than you would get at a large chain beginning with S. I have been stopping in at least weekly in hopes of getting some decent beans to brew at home, but for some reason they only seem to be bringing in dark roast beans for filter. Fine if that is what you drink but definitely not acceptable for a place that is trying to pass themselves off as an actual coffee shop.
Great atmosphere, fantastic service, great coffee and THE BEST breakfast sandwich ever made.I wake up thinking about this sandwich, if I could eat it every day I would. I will happily drive all the way across town just for this sandwich, I’d walk the 10km if I had to. God bless this cafe for bringing this culinary genius into my life.
Love this cafe with a panoramic view of Whistler and blackcomb mountain. Yam quesadillas were yummmm...
Ambiance was really good. Food was good. A few vegan options which was amazing.
Tasty flat white and light banana bread. Situated in a cute Plaza in among the mountain range.
Best coffee in whistler. Had a cappuccino here, and at various other local coffee shops. This one was superior. Bagel was a nice mid hike snack.
I don't eat vegan, but their vegan burrito may be the most hearty and tasty food I have had in a while. Brilliant food.
