I had a great time at blacks after a day on the hill. Our server brad was amazing, felt like a friend after we left. He made sure we were all having a good time and had everything we wanted. Overall a great place with fab vibes and the best staff! Great views of the mountain!
Blacks is a great spot for casual apres. We went in December and sat by their fire table outside and it was so lovely. When we were there they had these chicken wings that were SO good we craved them and had to go back a second time that weekend to get them. It was a dry rub, I believe the flavour was maple bacon? I don’t see them on the menu anymore, please bring them back they’re SO good.Their bulldogs are also unreal. I had an aperol spritz bulldog: a personal pitcher of aperol with its own mini prosecco bottle ontop. STUNNING
Great food, refreshing beverages, and good tunes. Wednesday is live music.One of the best bars in Whistler. If you come here get the mountain burger!! I haven’t tasted a better burger in town. Also the poutine is delicious and customizable. Worth the visit. Plus I’m sitting outside under a nice warm heater. Weather is cold but bar is warm.
Service was very slow, granted it was busy but it took 20 mins to order and almost 40mins for the food to arrive. I ordered a crown float and it wasn't the best. As you can see in the picture the guiness was poured directly onto the cider so it mixed. Pizza was ok. I was really hoping for a better experience here.
We visited the most happening places in the village but to be honest, Blacks nailed it! The people there were humble, kind and also wore a smile all the time. Well, I personally like to spend money at a place serving us right, aren’t they also paid for the same?! Customer service & customer satisfaction go hand in hand! Thanks Blacks for having such an amazing team. Ryan and others that I cannot recall the names of unfortunately were very welcoming. We’ll visit you guys again. Thank you team! Kudos! :)
I had a lovely experience at our local pub, blacks. the beautiful red head, and scott with the nice eyes at the door was absolutely lovely, super accommodating to our group. Our bartenders Josh and Sam made us the best margaritas we’ve had in Whistler. Highly recommend dining at this welcoming establishment at the base of the mountain. A beautiful view and a even more beautiful staff!
After trying the classics such as longhorns etc and felt a bit disappointed, we found blacks pub which was AMAZING!We were only going to go for drinks but once we got there the atmosphere and service was so amazing, we wanted to try the food as well! I am very glad we did, the Gouda ravioli was incredible!The cocktails were great, and we had a great evening in there and will definitely be back again! The staff are all very polite, very knowledgeable and attentive. I would like to mention one young man, I believe his name was scott. He really went the extra mile to make our night and was a true professional.
I visited Whistler with some friends and were recommended Blacks pub - the atmosphere was excellent and the food much alike.We stayed for a number of drinks and our host, Scott was a great help throughout. He spent time to speak to us about the best places to ski, see the sights and generally consume what Whistler had to offer.Great pub and I would certainly return again.
Food was good, but the service was bad ? we waited at the table for a while but no one came to take our orders, at least three waiters walking around Or just laughing with other customers instead ??♀️Butttt the DJ was fantastic, he got this hyper mood turned patio into nightclub, wish servers can be trained better.
Georgia was our server for 2 nights that we had at Blacks and she was delightful. I had a blast at karaoke on Wednesday and then again on Friday when we went back. It was my birthday and she made it an awesome day, would recommend asking for her service when you go! Blacks is a fun place and the food is great
