Good place to stop by for drinks.Great outdoor seating and ambience.Friendly service. Not much to choose from the food menu and prices are rather high for the quality but can’t complain because most tourist places have the same problem.Fries we had were salty and the burger patty was thin and overdone.Choose to sit outside. Wings are a safe bet and it’s best to buy jugs of beer.

These stars are based on the food and ambiance. If I took into account for the server it would be a 3 star. I had a large fresh Caesar salad ($16) and my kid had the Beacon burger ($21). Patio is nice and toasty on a cool Spring evening. Decent portions and prices are expected for Whistler. I was expecting better service for a resort town. Our server seemed to hate her job and made no effort to make us feel welcome, but tried hard to upsell add ons.

Nice meals and a good stout.

Changed owners a while back so wanted to check out the new digs and the scene after Covid restrictions. Went after a day of skiing and was nicely surprised!! The menu was simple but tasty and perfect for that beer and pub food! Chicken wings to die for! Ordered few dishes to share and for pub food was really good! Fresh, homemade taste even when it’s not the healthiest but a treat! Service was great, sat upstairs so great view around the village. Very reasonably priced for an expensive place so all around great place for a snack and a drink. Highly recommend it!

A very nice atmospheric place with very attentive staff. Always sat down within minutes of arriving and drinks and food arrive quickly. Very pleased!

The place was miserable…. So loud, everyone in the bar was screaming. Not my idea of a fun night. Food took 90 minutes to arrive after ordering. Understand difficulty due to Covid, but should be explained prior to entering rather than an hour after ordering.

Super fast service and got seated straight away at 6pm-ish (admittedly during mid week). Waitress was super friendly and had great recommendations for our group. The vegetarian flatbread was really good, as was the fried mozzarella.

We came here on a whim as we walked by it, assuming it was just a beer place. But it turns out the bartender has been there for many years and was nailing every single mix cocktail order, the drinks were just superb. It turned out to be one of the best night out experiences we had in Whistler

We called in for drinks after skiing - great service and atmosphere inside - too cold to sit outside.

We've been coming here since it was Citta's, but it's still great as the Beacon! This year we came here a couple of times, twice sat at the bar and once sat upstairs. Good selection of drinks, and although we didn't eat here this year, the food looked good. Nothing fancy, but it's a good pub with a relaxed vibe and well worth a visit
