Great friendly staff. Coffee isn’t anything special in my opinion, but I always enjoy their sandwiches. Lots of good looking and tasty chocolates. Always some form of festive chocolate as well!
My son and I custom ordered a cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday. For the past 3 years, we entrusted Temper’s talented team for many celebrations. They really make the best cakes and chocolate treats on the North Shore. This year we chose a large lemon tart for her as she likes the small ones. Needless to say we were shocked when we learned that they sold our custom order when we came by to collect it yesterday. My son and I spoke with their team. Their pasty chef and another male team member saw our cake with our plaque placed on it. It was disheartening for my son to hear that someone physically removed his mom’s birthday plaque off the cake we ordered and paid for and sold it to another customer. I wrote to their team and my son reached out to the owner on his social media - neither have replied. The reason why I gave them 2 stars was solely because of the lady who took our original commission was there and she immediately took responsibility and helped us seek the truth which is the very least that we deserved. She promptly asked their pasty chef to remake another tart for us a small one because they didn’t have the materials to make the one we ordered. It looked good but as it wasn’t given time to set properly so it wasn’t very good and was too small. We are grateful for her efforts but it is still a fail from their management and ownership. My advice to them is to look carefully at what happened and make an effort to insure that it doesn’t happen to another trusting customer. Pay less attention on being a public figure on social media for likes and pay some attention to people who support your business.
I ordered a lemon tart for a dinner party. It didn't look like the photo on the website. The crust and filling were the same colour, not the lovely lemon curd of the website. The crust was thick and not at all flaky. The filling was almost the same thickness at the crust. The filling lacked lemon flavour, it was just sweet. Presentation was pretty but not what I was expecting.
I was introduced to their ham and cheese croissant this morning. I do not know how something can be simultaneously crispy and then melt in my mouth. I had no shame, even at work. I devoured it. You won't regret eating one.
Very nice place to go if you want to treat yo self.
Save your money. Splurged $40 for this tiny strawberry cheesecake and had zero taste. I think it actually had freezer burn so you know they aren't making them fresh. Looks good but don't bother if you have tastebuds
As a girl from France, I am really picky when it's about French pastry. I had a Pain au chocolat and it just bring me back to my country. A nice oat milk latte, and everything was served fast and with a friendly staff. I recommend this place ??
This layered dark chocolate cake was heaven. One of the best I've ever had and I eat a lot of desserts.
They were sold out of every dessert, our drinks were disgusting and my almond croissant was rock hard and tasted like sand. I was really looking forward to this place and I have never been so disappointed.
This year I got cakes from different shops, but the one I got from this shop was the most expensive and the least delicious of all. Plus I didn't get a proper or kind service when picking up the order I put online. Plus Items in this shop are way over priced.
