Excellent food, service, and overall atmosphere. The open front of the restaurant, patio and view of the harbour encouraged us to walk in for some fish and chips. The service was very prompt and courteous, and the fresh caught Halibut fish with a non-pinky batter was scrumptious and exceeded our expectations. Likewise, the fries were delicious and also not oily. We’ve had fish and and chips and this was by far, the best ever. Desert was lava cake as ice cream- also very good. It was the perfect casual atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere, food was delicious and it came really fast. Service was amazing, very quick, friendly and responded to our various demands. -1 star because I’ve had better fish & chips at white rock!
Nice Pub vibe along the water, with a cute back patio.Came here for a family birthday dinner while waiting for our ferry.Good experience and a very friendly server.Menu has the typical pub food you would expect, but also some dishes with fusion of other food types/ cultures!
Met up with some friends for dinner in Horseshoe Bay. Laid back pub with a good selection of burgers and salads.I had the oyster burger which was good, but not extraordinary. The fries were well made, crunchy on the outside and softer on the inside.Service was quick and good. No complaints in this department.
We came for dinner on a Tuesday and enjoyed the food and the airy relaxed vibe of their dining room. I had the fish tacos with green salad. It was excellent. Everyone in our party of six loved their food. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Horseshoe Bay town is small but has beautiful views.
Revisited yesterday after 4 years. The food were very good, but the drinks were not quite satisfying. Our server was not really connecting with the customers. He just quietly approached us and no self introduction, no greeting, just used his low, nearly whispering voice and asked what do we want to order. Not a bad experience but definitely have rooms to improve on the costumer services.(In 2018) A bit far but the food and environment are wonderful, nice for family gathering! Enjoyed the time there and the servers are really nice! Highly recommended!
Deeelish!!!! The fish taco was light a d crispy as were the fries and my teenage son was like « damn mom We need to come back here on the back end of pur trip. I tried it and must concur. No complaints at all. Plus if you are killing some time between ferry crossings they have a take out window as well. Worth it !!! Dont hesitate!
This used to be our go-to spot for a nice meal when we missed our ferry, but it seems like the food has gone downhill and the prices have gone uphill. $40 for fish and chip? The service is great, so hoping they work on getting a new chef. The chicken wings were way over cooked, the fries weren’t great. Sadly still probably the best option for a meal in Horseshoe Bay ?♂️
Nice atmosphere and good food. Shared the Seafood Cioppino on a cool windy day. Great broth and lots of seafood, a perfect match for the day
Not sure if they switched ownership and not just names (??) but anyway we've been coming since 2008 and the food's always been good. I'll never not-order something with oysters.
