I’m amazed this place only has 3.8 Stars (or I think 2.9 last time I checked). This is the best sushi I’ve had on the North Shore and I’m really never disappointed. Other places seem to have good and bad days (maybe depending on the chef) but I find Nishiki to just be reliably good. Occasionally I’m a little less impressed by the servers but this is well made up by the quality of the food and the kindness of the chefs. Highly recommend!

Don’t waste your time… Went to dine in, no customers in the restaurant and asked if we could sit in a booth. The women working told us we couldn’t because the tables were not clean. I asked if they could clean, she said no that she was too busy even though no one was in the store except us… We sat down, she went behind the counter and stood looking at her phone and mixing herself a drink for over 5 minutes. Didn’t ask us if we wanted anything to drink. After waiting got 5+ minutes looking at her she still didn’t come to help us. We walked out without the employees even saying 1 word to us.. I can’t imagine how this business can stay open with service like this..

Rude owner (staff), not fresh sushi.Ordered sushi from here a few times and each time was very disappointed. The woman taking orders (owner) is extremely rude. Each time I ordered takeout. The second time I realized they had 10% off takeout, so when I asked her to apply the discount she said “no, because you already have a good deal with what you ordered” excuse me? They engage in sketchy business practices and I refuse to support businesses that lie to consumers and provide poor quality products. The sushi was disappointing. My Californian roll was tiny, the size of a maki roll, and the avocado was black—it lacked any flavour. The chicken didn’t taste fresh either. Nothing about it was good. I shouldn’t have returned after the first visit, but I try to give small businesses a second chance. This one is not worth your time. Go check out the other sushi places on west van and support businesses that are honest and worth your time (and wallet). I hope the owner checks her attitude.

Worst customer service I have ever seen. Disappointing, Never go there. The stuff were so rude specially the girl that work as a server there. If I could give it less than one star I would.

This restaurant was a little gem along Marine Drive in West Vancouver. It was very cozy inside, the menu was impressive in its variety, the service absolutely fantastic and the overall Ambience enjoyable. To top it off the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

Kind staff, efficient service, good food. Unfortunate to see so few customers - likely due to COVID.

I was here in October 2021. Service was horrible, waited 5 minutes at the empty restaurant and the server didn't even try to talk to me. I wound up placing my order by phone. When I picked up my order, the calamari was so stale and the sashimi was still frozen!! Vancouver is a sushi nirvana, go literally anywhere else.

Terrible Service !! Especially for foreigners don't go there. They don't accept out of province/international proof of vaccination when the government said it's ok. Really sad and they told me to leave...

Worst sushi restaurant in West Van. I ordered on the phone and they told me it would take 35 minutes, so I get there after about 40 minutes expecting my order to be ready, I come in to the restaurant and tell the waitress that I was there for my order made on the phone and she had no idea what I was talking about. She goes to the back, doesn’t tell me anything so I sat myself down and waited for maybe 10 more minutes. I get home and see my order and the rolls I ordered were the smallest rolls I’ve ever seen. The rice was soggy (it tasted like they dipped the rolls in water before packing them), the imitation crab in my California roll was also watered down (it had no taste at all, didn’t even have the usual red dye they use for imitation crab. It was just pale strips of god knows what). I could’ve sworn the Cali rolls were just rolls of rice because I could not even see the “crab” it was so pale. The dynamite rolls were no better, same soggy, watery rice (a sushi resto who can’t cook proper rice? Come on). The prawn skin was very hard that I couldn’t even chew it, and again, these rolls were TINY. I would’ve been happy with these tiny rolls if they were actually good. The only thing decent that I ordered was a BC roll and even that was subpar. I think this place is severely understaffed, while I was waiting for my order to be done (because apparently the 35 minutes they said it would take was a complete sham), there was a couple waiting behind me that ended up finding themselves a table because the waitress didn’t even acknowledge them, and several other people in their tables either waiting for her to take their order or pay their bill. Overall, don’t waste your money. Just go to the other sushi places in West Van (and there are many others) if you don’t want to get disappointed.

Our goto Sushi place. However, if getting take away, allow plenty of time, probably around 30 to 40 minutes for dinner. - Well worth the wait.
