Went there with my family, it's not some ambient, but washroom was clean, staff was trying hard to please customers. That is the reason I gave them 5 stars.
I ordered gravy and it looked suspiciously creamy but I didn’t think anything of it until my 5 year old said yucky and spat it out. Then I tried it and the gravy was raw, I could taste the flour/corn starch in it. I told the staff and they said it was cooked in the morning. I asked them to try it but they refused to because they “don’t eat gravy”. I threw it away and asked to speak with a manager but one wasn’t in. I made a complaint to the Vancouver health food safety department while my kids are plain fries. On my way out, I told them I had made a formal complaint about the gravy and they need to look into it and left.
The moron “local guide” below clearly doesn’t understand how restaurants work grow up child and stop acting like other peoples time doesn’t matter and that your special. #typicalyelpreviewer. This dq is actually really solid 100% recommended probably best in vancouver
I went and ordered a non-dairy dilly bar. They took my payment, went into the back and told me they didn't have a non-dairy dilly bar. I asked for a refund since I wasn't able to get anything. They asked if I wanted anything else and I said I didn't have time. They said they also had a non-dairy fudge bar, so I said sure. They mistakenly tried to charge me full price for the non-dairy fudge bar until I corrected them that I'd already paid for 90% of it. They were very confused, then the person who went back to get me my non-dairy fudge bar came back and handed me two bars and said "you're good to go" so I took them and left to get to where I was headed. After getting in the car and leaving, I opened up the plastic wrap of the bars they'd given me and realized it was instead a vanilla orange bar WITH DAIRY. I didn't have time to go back and get my refund or complaine. Dairy Queen straight up scammed me. I'm vegan so I can't even eat the bar. You better believe I'm going to be bad mouthing Dairy Queen to anyone who will listen for the rest of my life.
Really caring and sweet kids working there but very short staffed and overworked. Two people isnt enough for when there is a lot of customers. Either owner has issues finding staff or is trying to save money by torturing these poor teens. A+ to workers and food. C+ to owner as its been short staffed for a long time now.
I ordered a cake for my son’s birthday and could tell it wasn’t made fresh. It tasted freeze burnt and was icy. As I was throwing away the leftovers, I saw a note on the bottom with a date it was made… a whole month before I ordered it. Gross.
Decided to treat myself to some chicken strips and a "basket of fries" through skip the dishes. Was pretty expensive to add the extra fries and this is what arrived. This isn't even a regular order of fries let alone enough to be considered a basket. I complained to skip and they gave me $2.32 back! What a total rip off!Don't waste your money!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Me and my girlfriend went there one evening to get blizzards. It wasn’t until we got home that my girlfriend found an entire fake acrylic nail in her blizzard. Mind you, she found this out AFTER it had been in her mouth already. The fact that any employee could let this happen, disgusts me. The entire establishment is in disarray and is clearly poorly managed.
The guy serving the ice cream barely dipped it and it’s melting right away in 1°C weather.. pretty disappointing experience
Great place love the service and the ice cream Definitely recommend this place.
