Taco Tuesday is a thing for downtown lunches here. Ordered 1 each of the crispy chicken thai, prawn + avocado + mango slaw, and a fish taco, and they were all excellent. 3.50 each too!It was not busy at all but the tacos did take longer than expected and I wanted to enjoy them.... so make sure if you're going for lunch just maybe don't have a 1pm meeting to be at.

Had a pretty brutal experience taking my girl out on a date here. Started off with the server walking past us (started to seem intentional) about 3-4 times before having to cut her off to take our order. She even took the order of people beside us who arrived after us. Anyways, dinner for both arrived super dried out and bland.1 star for decent beer selection and enough screens to watch a game.

Came here last Thursday and everyone was so friendly. There were 2 people at the host desk that were very nice. I sat at the bar and the bartender was really nice. I think there was a shift change happening at some point and the next bartender I got was super friendly and helpful as well. I got his awesome recommendation on a really tasty sour beer and I asked his recommendation on a good patio to check out. I would definitely come back here.

Service was friendly and had a nice casual atmosphere. Important to note that the happy hour menu listed on their website is NOT the happy hour menu you are given in-person! It seems they also now have Taco Tuesdays, so all of the tacos were 3.50ea. Good value at that price, but I imagine I would have been underwhelmed had I paid full menu price ?

A bar is a bar is a bar. The food and drinks were good, but what made it above average was the server. She seemed to be omnipresent without being obtrusive and knew what we needed before we did. My only regret is failing to remember her name for this review.

Used to be a super fun place but obvious the owners are no longer are engaged. Broken washrooms,15 or 16 dollar drinks that have no resemblance to the original recipes, no fresh ingredients anywhere and faltering clientele. Servers were great but that's about the only thing that was.

Well, the guy at the door was intense but I kind of loved it. We got pulled pork poutine and they forgot about the pork and brought it later in a dish and it sucked. Beers were beers. Music was especially bad.

Its clear that most of the staff is hard working. The host and my server were polite and respectful. They did they're job more than reasonably well considering how busy it was. Granted, there were a couple hiccups but they recovered well. The washrooms are always disgusting. The booth seating is dingy. This caucasion, short-haired, early 40's, short-build male was rude and obnoxious. I believe it was the manager on shift. That man has no customer care interpersonal skills and no leadership qualities. I feel so offended that to the point where I'm uncomfortable even retelling the nights events. This is a dive bar being steered into the ground. I will never revisit this place.

Go here regularly for the trivia nights which can be a lot of fun and fills up fast. The staff, for the most part, are quite nice and friendly. For a place that calls itself a tap house nothing really rotates as far as the taps go and it is just the same thing. Very little variety and gets boring after a while. The speakers in the back where the pool tables used to be don't work and no one seems to give a sh!t except for the people that go to play trivia. It's really quite annoying! You would think for a place that gets that busy and brings in that much cliental you could spend a little bit of money on your venue to accommodate. The food is pretty decent and I enjoy their fish tacos and pizza.

I went to visit my cousin in Victoria yesterday and we went to Yates Street Taphouse since it is one of his favorite bars. I found the food very average and the beers were a little expensive (compared to surrounding bars). However, the service was very welcoming. Our waitress, Maddy, was very attentive and prompt with our drinks (we ordered several rounds for our large group). She engaged pleasantly with our group and even suggested local pet stores nearby for our daughter's cat. We appreciate good service and would go back for that reason. I would have given five stars if the drinks were priced more appropriately.
