Visited this amazing restaurant on Wednesday afternoon, we tried spicy beef tofu stew and pork bone soup, and tasted great! The side dishes had great taste as well, and we even asked for extra portion.Authentic Korean food, will definitely come back again and try more dishes!
Tried Xin Korean Restaurant for to the first time today and really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately it was an overall disappointing experience. I am a huge fan of Korean food and ordered my favourite: bibimbap. I was a bit surprised by the $18 price tag on the menu, but thought it would probably be worth it with the various sides that customarily come along with this dish. Unfortunately, all I got for $18 was a very small bibimbap main (small mound of rice topped with a small portion of ground beef, and some mushrooms, carrots, and spinach, with a completely raw egg on top), a small dish of gochujang, and about 1/4c of miso soup in a tiny bowl. When I asked if the meal came with sides (kimchi, etc.) I was told I had to pay $3 for a side of kimchi and that no other sides came with this dish. The food I got was okay, but definitely not worth an $18 price tag and sadly I won't be back.
One of the better places for 짜장면 korean black bean noodles in the city. 짬뽕 jjambbong spicy seafood noodle soup is decent.
I came to this restaurant on December 2nd at 2pm and had a bad experience with it. I have been to this place many times before and this is not the first time that this happened.The girl that served us on that day was completely not nice at all, and not just on that day but every time i came before. She ignored us, and served very cursorily. Took her so long to cleaned the other tables and she intentionally made loud noises when she cleaned the tables next to us. That was unacceptable. Her reaction indicated that she didn’t want to help with the serving. I hope the owner would take a look at this comment and improve the customer service.
This restaurant is freaking legit!!! My husband and I went there last Wednesday to have lunch.We’d ordered black bean noodle and gam ja tang and don katsu.All of them were just awesome.Frankly they deserve to have more stars!!
So comforting... Normally I'm not into Korean food because I find it heavy and not great but this is literally my favorite Korean restaurant I've ever tried

This is our go to Korean dinner restaurant. The food is great, whether eat in or take out. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. Looking forward to returning.
This place is such a gem. We love Korean food and we discovered this place and its great reviews. I've had Korean food all over Canada and in South Korea, this is great value for authentic Korean in Victoria. We had the deep fried squid, galbi, stir fried mushroom and veg, and the dolsot bibimbop. All were delicious. Our server was great and food service was prompt. I wanted to go back right away to try their gamjatang which lots of people ordered that cold evening. Recommended for asian food lovers in Victoria.
I'll be back! The portion is still generous even after they have raised the price a little. The taste is authentic not too sweet. The service is friendly and welcoming.
